  • What is the name of the song playing in the end of the trailer?

  • Very underrated movie, I think... I highly recommend it!

  • I strongly believe it was because of the first sentence why the western critics were disgusted of the movie...i hope you understand what i mean.

  • Way too toughtful for the general public. Not exactly enetertainment.

  • @hydrolito Hitler Hated Communists. His alliance with Stalin was just to keep him out of europe while he set down his roots. He never intended to uphold it.

  • Marlon Brando played the Godfather so implied what was done in that movie for anyone who didn't get Brando reference.

  • Communism killed even more people than the Nazis. Lenin, Stalin and Mao were much better treated than the average person who tended to live in fear if at all under their rule. They killed minority groups also.

  • Could be the most important movie of this century so far. Totally regained all respect for Donald Sutherland and lost what little I had left for critics.

  • I just saw it today...craziest movie of all the crazys movies I´ve seen....but I liked it too much....one thing I didn´t get ....why elephants???

  • I have proof of ALIENS & SPIRITS please go to my sight to see be ready it will change your life forever...EARTH NEEDS TO SEE WHAT IS REALLY HAPPERENING...

oN THE LEFT ON MY SIGHT WATCH ALL THOSE LINKS FIRST YOU WILL BE AMAZED SHOCKED,IHEAR THEM..PREPARE YOURSELF

  • "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"- The Who

  • i think they got this idea from british history. the english revolution back in 1600's. seems really similar to that

  • Certainly one of my favorite films, it's truly engaging the way in which it presents its ideas on power and government. To quote George Orwell's 1984: Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power.

  • Basically, our problems as a species aren't from any idealized motivation so much as from our selfish natures.

  • This message of the film goes beyond your ideologies and such political flavors nonsense. It is saying that power corrupts no matter what good intentions the different sides pay lip service to. It is saying that human weakness always ensures that those with power will use it against those without power to ensure they keep it and even if those without power get power, they'll end up doing the same. Man oppresses man, regardless. Nothing ever changes, meet the new boss, same as the old boss, ect.

  • excelent movie but if you like big brother, american idol and other "reality" crap or if you're a commie/nazi/liberal idiot you'll hate it...

  • @hsrsbxfhsr commies and nazis are ploar opposites... Hitler Hated communists, thats why he turned on Russia

  • nop, commies and nazis are the same sons powerstrugling sons of bitches who want to rule the whole world... and the only thing wors than them is a liberal capitalist...

  • @hsrsbxfhsr no seriously. you are wrong. All governments strive for power, but communism says everyone is absolutely equal. Nazism obviously didn't think jewish people, homosexuals, diseaed, mentally handicapped or anything else that they didnt like were sub-human. Get of youtube and read a book/

  • I've read more than enough books and belive me, they're the same but there's no piont in arguing about it, you have your opinion and I have my, lets just leave it at that... the point is: it's a excellent movie!!

  • @hsrsbxfhsr havent seen it yet but imma watch it tonight with a beer when i finish my last final. the quote at 2:07 is the best.

  • @jscoggins86

its a take on an old Eastern Bloc joke which goes something like 'capitalism is exploitation of man by man, under socialism it is exactly the opposite'.

  • So what you're saying is, that even if someone reads a lot of books, they can still not understand nazi's and communists are polar opposites?

I read a lot too, and I do understand it. And jscogging86 seems to understand it too.

But you're probably just a teenager who is in his anti-everything-and-I-know-best period (also known as puberty). You'll get over it.

  • @jscoggins86 History is written by the winners how do you know the Russians under Stalin didn't turn on Germany? Stalin had Russia make unprovoked attacks against other nations or did you miss that? Nazi's were National "Socialist", Russians Union of Soviet "Socialists", so how is it he hated it?

  • @hsrsbxfhsr Liberal?Don't you mean conservative?

  • looks rly good ralph fiennes is one of my fav actors

  • Wait i don't remember when this came out!!

  • i love this flim, dont know why so many people hated it

they say i am a war criminal, but everything i have done i've done for my country

  • It was a good movie, but the end was so god damn depressing... does anyone know the theme song for it, like what it plays on the dvd? i cant find it anywhere... it says somehting about learning how to fly

  • awesome movie..just saw it..i felt like its a mix between v for vendetta and titus...

  • hahahaha

  • looks good. to bad people are blind

  • Excellent movies, should have recieved wider reception

  • yes viva socialist democracy...hhaaa

but this movie is freakin dope. dont forget to watch the dance upstairs and children of men

  • Children of Men looks pretty good. Did you mean The Dancer Upstairs? or, if not, where can I find the trailer for The Dance Upstairs?

  • yeah my bad its the dancer upstairs, and that one is pretty good also

  • i saw this , its a great film

  • hmm I like the writing in this show. I am going to see it.

  • haha I live in Brighton, England and walk passed The Royal Pavillion all d time , ha ha this film i must watch it , that is the Royal Pavilion im sure totally.

  • the critics hated this one, but I fucking loved it. it makes V for Vendetta look like a silly tea party. "what's better than a big juicy steak? nothing. and what's better than nothing? a stale piece of bread. therefore, a stale piece of bread is better than a big juicy steak."

  • @EmperorBomb Bigger juicy steak is better than a big juicy steak. Juicy steak is better than stale bread unless the meat has spoiled.

  • "Show me a hero and I show you a tragedy." Omg this looks quite amazing... I have to watch this when a I have the oportunity. And above all these things - the two leading actors are absolutely great!

  • wow this movie is pretty tough

  • Like... Marlon Brando!!!

WTF. That speeche was good until that

  • how is that little man so demanding? its odd

  • i realy liked the music in this movie can anyone tell me what it is and who wrote it.

  • although, this movie looks DEMENTED....yet at the same time it looks awesome.. DEMENTED yet AWESOME..hmm?

  • tom hollander is soooooooo frickin hot!! and he has an awesome accent!!!

  • I wanna see this @_@ I dun know why, Probably the action and Tom Hollander xP

  • What is this movie rated anyway?

  • Ahaha. Tom Hollander screaming "Like...Marlin Brando"

    Just made my day.

  • It's the best rant EVER!

  • xD Amen to that.

  • Does Harry Eden play in ? We can't see him at this video....

  • i wanna see it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO badly now...i ♥ tom hollander he's so awesome!

  • Lol, I can see by your nickname that you must like him. I wanna see it, too, if only for Hollander, but it looks like a great movie overall. And seeing him in his dictator/dominator roles is orgasmic.

  • LOOK MACKENZIE ALONE YOU JERK!

*sniffle* that one scene was messed up*

  • I never knew it was out on DVD. cool

  • Looks good, definitely will check it out :D

  • you can grab it on DVD now...

a really killer story idea and a great cast...

I think the editing took a nosedive... but some of the most original scenery and dialogue I've seen in a while...

  • This movie's awesome
