Wooow.. i've never really paid attention to the lifestyle of North Korea. I've heard a lot of bad things about the country. Now that i've become interested in digging deeper to the people of N. Korea i'm finding out why there are so many bad comments about the place. In this video the people are sobbing, crying... balling their eyes out. @mundotaku ZiL isnt American. But you are right in the respect that the NK will clone nearly anything they can get thier hands on (including 100$ bills). ZiL was the premeir Soviet/Russian Limosine manufacturer and still is. The particular model shown here is likely a locally produced version of either ZiL-4104 or ZiL-41047 from Kim-Il-Sungs Private collection. These are heavily armored cars and more or less immune to anything short of C4 or a RPG.

@mundotaku ZiL isnt American. But you are right in the respect that the NK will clone nearly anything they can get thier hands on (including 100$ bills). ZiL was the premeir Soviet/Russian Limosine manufacturer and still is. The particular model shown here is likely a locally produced version of either ZiL-4104 or ZiL-41047 from Kim-Il-Sungs Private collection. These are heavily armored cars and more or less immune to anything short of C4 or a RPG.

NK is bad if the IL dynasty collapses than all of korea can become an american puppet and the NK can see how poor they are compared to their surrounding. I guess the bright side is that after half a decade of development they can be almost like the south buy despised like the West Germans hated the east after the cold war.

When our leader in Yugoslavia, Tito, died in 1980, we also cried. But we weren't fanatics. People cried because they lived their whole life under him and because he done so good things for Yugoslavia. Because of his policy, Yugoslavia was called ''communist-capitalist country''. People cried because they knew that with his death, country would fall apart because of nationalism (yuga had 6 nations). It did happen in 1991.

@COSANOSTRA2OO8 Maybe a local copy? I mean the NK does produce some cars and its got that 1970's mercedes look to it. Its also possible its a local variant of one of the Soviet ZiL Limosines. Whatever it is it clearly isnt a hearse as its carrying Kim-Il-Sungs coffin on top and not inside. Theres also no doors at the back that would facilitate such a positioning of the coffin.

The best comparison I can come up with is that you have been told all your life that the sky is blue, then someone tells you it is in fact white. You would not believe them and have no basis to, the north koreans have no acess to the outside world and they didnt before north koreas founding either.
