The music is goofy....I really liked the technique of the yellow belt more, his moves seemed more focused towards damage rather than show. The black belt moved decently, but he was too all over the place.

@Pakleni1 If either one is Shotokan then its the black belt. Because a yellow belt in Shotokan is a beginner. But a yellow belt in kyokushin is a more advanced student. Therefore the yellow belt is without a doubt Kyokushin because according to Kyokushin ranking system a yellow belt is about the same as a purple belt would be in other systems (I looked it up). I don't understand all the patches and embroideries on the black belts gi though. I thought that was frowned upon in traditional karate.

The fact that you or anyone would make a comment about the color of his belt is absurd. One club's yellow belt student might be better than another club's brown or black (especially if it's some crappy McDojo). Some might have a different belt structure, or may not test that often. Remember it's the man who makes the belt, not the belt who makes the man.

@bstrac77 The quality of the karate is in the training. If I was running a dojo it would be empty 90% of the time! Because my students would be outside in a park or some outdoor venue running their asses off, up and down stairs and doing anaerobic and aerobic kihon waza drills, knock down kumite and then finish it off with a round of kata just about the time when they could no longer stand. But in dojos today pupils work on moves in front of the mirror under air conditioning! LOL!

sloppy mawashi geri, u are supposed to snap that technique not do it like in kickboxing, so the moment you hit your thigh stands were it is und just the foreleg is snapping backwards, that is how it is supposed to be executed (and how it causes most pain) but just letting the whole leg fall down is more like a kickboxing technique looks really sloppy and is slower in the end
