From what I've observed, it's indeed real and serious news, almost as good as BBC World (because many BBC World journalists got let go and so went to work for Al Jazeera English (it seems), so it's in proper English language, no gossiping, no opinionated journalists, and... Advertising-free!

I've been watching Al Jazeera English (ALE) on the web over the past months, and I have to say, it's indeed real news. The reporters aren't opinionated (unlike FOX or CNN where they gossip too much and sensationalize news), ALE simply reports the events and facts for what they are. After BBC World let go nearly 50% of their staff (due to budget issues), a lot of their reporters and anchors went to work at ALE if I'm not mistaken. That's how I think they got experienced A-class journalists.
I must say this woman isn't very clever. If CNN & BBC start given the real news like Al-Jazeera and RT rest of the Americans and world who watch these channels would also come to know that the reality is. These flipping politicians federal reserve corporates bush blair cameron obama are all crooks friends of all the dictators terrorists around the world except those who oppose them no matter democratic or autocratic
Doesnt matter how much money you spend hillary or the amount of info you pump out. Hillary is absolutely right. I have watched Al-Jazeera on occasion, and I found it to be quite professional and informative. I didn't detect any bias one way or another, and that is important. We have lost that for the most part in our media here in the States, and that is quite regrettable. As always, the truth will hurt those who don't want to take off the ideological blindfold but it must be said, and I applaud the Secretary of State for doing so. Where's our common sense, people?

I've been watching Al Jazeera English (ALE) on the web over the past months, and I have to say, it's indeed real news. The reporters aren't opinionated (unlike FOX or CNN where they gossip too much and sensationalize news), ALE simply reports the events and facts for what they are. After BBC World let go nearly 50% of their staff (due to budget issues), a lot of their reporters and anchors went to work at ALE if I'm not mistaken. That's how I think they got experienced A-class journalists.

Doesnt matter how much money you spend hillary or the amount of info you pump out. People, smart people will look at every source of news they can get, we relise the media is broken and reporters dont do there jobs anymore and anchors are puppets, so the best we can do is watch and listen to everthing we can and decide for our selves. Remember when news was facts or as close as they could get and footage from on the ground introduced by an anchor and left at that no opinions just info.

I'm surprised she's allowed to say this without getting a phone call from some lobbyist prick. The media in the U.S. whether is be newspaper or TV or movies is 90%+ owned by a few corporations, so it is naturally and intentionally misleading on a daily basis. Al Jazeera is fantastic, it's real news and investigative journalism, not "how can we distract the public from the important issues at hand/not cover them at all?" Anybody who is interested can watch Al Jazeera English streamed on Youtube.

Hillary is absolutely right. I have watched Al-Jazeera on occasion, and I found it to be quite professional and informative. I didn't detect any bias one way or another, and that is important. We have lost that for the most part in our media here in the States, and that is quite regrettable. As always, the truth will hurt those who don't want to take off the ideological blindfold but it must be said, and I applaud the Secretary of State for doing so. Where's our common sense, people?
