Maybe you can help me or give some advice? I've bought 2 red-rumpets (a girl and a boy). They are very afraid of anyone who approaches them. How can I make them more courageous? I have them about a month.

There's an excellent video called "building trust with your bird" here on you tube. Also the "Parrot Training Video THE 'Power Pause' Technique" I would recommend that you search for and watch. Both use something called clicker training that i think is an excellent and very effective method to train birds

I have a red rump parakeet female as well..when i showed her this clip she respond agressive tone lol! anyways very cute red rump ^^

Haha...funny that! And nice to hear from someone who also has a red-rumped parakeet(!) Gimli also responds to her own video -- it's an aggressive tone, but I think she finds fun to "sound agressive" (the same call that she has in the video)...it's like she enjoys it -- do you get that feeling from your parakeet?
