  • philosophical music

  • 1:22 - 1:43 Wow, I just love that part,

  • he needs alot more fans...

  • + 5ppl go to the hell (-__+)

  • this song is crazy is this the real video or did you get the clips from this video is one of my favorites the song and video fit amazing thanks for posting it

  • ...but the video fits perfectly, and it's time for me to STOP posting here...for now

  • I really like the Floyd element

  • CREMASTER, man you gotta be sick...

  • I've know this song for well over 12 years and never thought of checking for a video. I just saw the video for the first time and man, it's insane.

Talk about a dark, dark vibe on a brillant song. I'm stunned and so amazed with the imagination.

  • @FortisBong Mrs. Beasley is pretty good too...

  • I loooove this

  • Usually I listen to songs as background in doing work. When this comes on I stop what I'm doing and listen till it finishes. It's so slick and creepy.

  • what's going on in this video? (0_O)

  • this is the SICKEST video i have ever seen!

  • If i had to pick only one album to listen to for the rest of my life it would be colma.

  • @dismemberfest you need to get out more often, Colma is great but it definitely is not the end all, don't limit yourself, crawl or climb out of that box you're in and come back into the light.....

  • dude ur vids r sssoooo good

  • everyday i look through random buckethead songs, this is the song of the day/bassline of the day

  • Good thing they just made that movie called Sanctum. That should get Buckethead some more listeners. I've always been a Buckethead fan. Love his music more than anything.

  • someone tell me why theyre carrying a dead body??

  • I bought Colma expecting a Shred album. I pleasenetly discovered something more! Buckethead is AWESOME!

  • fuck yngwie malmsteen and all those other instrumentalists, buckethead rules all.

why? he has a fucking soul!!! his music has emotions... his music IS music.

    none other can beat that.

also he's over-productive... so many albums

  • impossible to listen just once

  • gods not real :( buckethead is real

    buckethead > god

  • Sometimes I hate Buckethead, specially the first time I listened to this song, I listened to it 10 times in a row and I thought, "Damn, how come it never occurred to me this kind of beat, and drama and melody and nostalgic sound?" I guess because I am human and this guy is from another planet. Sanctum, my favorite song along with Inward Journey.

  • I don't want to come off like I'm a know it all asshole..But the tone he uses for this should have been done on a Roland, GR-33 prick guitar processor..It has a processed prick feel to it.. You can't make any mistakes or noises, just way dickheads like it.. The idea is be better than everyone else,''so only guys on BIG record labels with huge endorsements at Namm shows can talk to you like you probably don't want something like this, cause its not for the guys who play bars or in garages..hA!,'

  • Who says rockstars cant vibe with funk? LOL

  • nice job on the VIDEO!

  • Ok. not a wedding song

  • i listened to this on oxycotton cuzzz

  • Every time he bands a note my dick gets hard enough to cut diamonds

  • Does this song remind anyone else of requiem for a dream? Not the score, but the vibe from the movie?

  • It conveys an often brief and overlooked feeling of somber nostalgia that reverberates in our mind in cloud of emptyness in our lifetime only to be brought back by songs like these.

  • riiiiiiiiiiiight

  • @JJack887 totally...

  • this video is fricken disturbing o_O especially with the song.... xD .. the song is pro though... just wierd when coupled with this video O_O

  • this song almost sounds as if Tommy Guerrero could have composed it, its so similar to that style of easy listening soft rock.

  • i fucking love the bass riff

  • my version is mixed with eraser head, all I did was hit play on both the song and the movie and it synced up perfectly... the ending couldn't have worked better

    /watch?v=Nb6oUJ7xpcE

  • great song hands down

  • The Fuzzy sound reminds me of the Cobra Strike albums buckethead released. Most likely written around that time and ; he must have thought it would fit better on this album. Anyways, great song like all the others on this album.

  • One of my all time favorite tracks. Awesome flow of emotion

  • this song isnt overlooked by me, its probably my favorite off this album. this or machete

  • all the songs are fantastic.

the solo at the end of wishing well,

watching the boats with my dad,

so many gems on one album.

Best part is it flows perfectly into electric tears, as they're in the same key and have a similar feel.

  • @defibrillator33 There's a huge amount of songs that get overlooked by the mob. I did so myself, I only saw Soothsayer, Jordan and Welcome to Bucketheadland and the rest I labled as 'experimental' stuff. Luckily I realized I was wrong and found this hidden treasure of beauty. ;)

  • @simplethunder Hidden beauty? Lol dude 90% of Buckethead's stuff is golden, just no one bothers to listen.

  • @defibrillator33 mine too!

  • another great video bordertown.

  • my bloody fac song of colma, alongside lone sal bug and bsm :)

  • for a second i thought it was a chicken in the car

  • holy crap the beat of this song is addicting . . . I will be humming this for a while

  • Hypnotic!

  • i think lone sal bug is a really good song thats overlooked =\

  • my wife walked down the isle at our wedding to lone sal bug =D

  • wow i hope my wife does that if i get married =o

  • lone sal bug is the song that made me realize everything happens for a reason... idk why either. but ur a lucky man. im gonna have a cover of lone sal bug and hills of eternity in the next week. if u want u can check out my covers i have up now.

  • sweet. good job, nice choice of beautiful music. good luck with stuff lol

  • @juxsimple Ow man ! That's classy ! =D

  • @juxsimple aww, Congratulations :- ) An awesome choice if u ask me :- )

  • @juxsimple i'd love this as a wedding song :D it's perfect.

  • This song is addictive!! :) That beat is awesome.

  • I think this song and CS-118 have some relation to eachother. CS-118 is a song off of the 13th Scroll from Cobra Strike, they sound similar, but I prefer this a bit more eh.

  • is taht a dead guy at the start?

  • He doesn't look realy alive does he?

  • :D freaking funny! looks like,...stiff and stuff.

  • trippy music is for tripping

  • Nice Border. I like that bass line of course and the rest. Hum a new page. So cool.

    Keep Swingin Man

  • i heard about BH cuz some of my friends were talking about GH2 and the song Jordan so i searched the song up, it was amazing so i decided to listen to all of his other tracks

    Amazing guitarist

  • hey me to

  • i knew him before gh came out, he wasnt very popular but now it seems he has a wayy bigger audience

  • @bobMcFreddyKrugerson

started to listen to all of his other tracks?

HA, let me know when you re done.

  • anyone know what effects hes using here? buckethead is just too good at this, i just cant keep up with his mastery of sound.

  • Delay's a given, and a phaser from the sound of it, for the background guitars at least... The lead sounds like it's got a bit of delay, as well as a flanger. Not 100% sure there but that'd be me guess.

  • Hey cool thanks man. I wouldve guessed flanger or phaser the instant i heard this but ive never heard it used like this. But thats Buckethead for ya.

  • Hm, now that I think about it it might be chorus mixed with wah, not flanger.

Creates a similar effect but the flange sound can be more controlled that way.

  • Maybe, It does seem more likely seeing how Buckethead rarely uses any flanger or phaser. But maybe he does use a tad of phaser to create that kind of "screeching" when reaching those high notes.

  • does anyone know where i can get my hands on "LEGAL" Buckethead CDs

Just a pity he isnt mainstream cos its so much harder to find him

  • barnes and noble, i got mine from ordering

  • cheers =D

  • ive been a bucket fan for like a year and a half, only. damn, i wish i'd have heard of him sooner.

  • same

i wouldve been a lot happier collecting albums from a more older period and i wouldve gotten most of his studio albums by now.

  • If it weren't for guitar hero i probably wouldnt of heard of him, and thats a sad thought. I'm just glad i got all his stuff now he's my favorite

  • yeah, there's a lot of people that like him 'cause of GH, but i can proudly say that it wasnt guitar hero that did it for me, i cant stand it.

  • well am a new fan of buckethead, actually , i discovered it totaly by mistake, when i was downloading guitar music online, i downloaded "too many humans " by mistake , and i liked it , so i googled buckethead , and here i am ....

  • whoa yeah, too many humans is a realy good song

  • Before guitar hero out of all people my mom had a CD of his. I listened to it randomly one day and was like "hey this is pretty awesome" and I've liked Buckethead ever since.

  • really what cd was it?

  • Buckethead-Colma

  • lol no i know what cd this song is on im a pretty avid buckethead fan but someone left a comment saying their mother had a big-b cd and i asked what one

  • BUCKETHEAD

those chickens must of took care of u because damn, you have too many awsome songs!

    buckethead fan for life

  • First time hearing this track. I think I found my new favorite on Colma.

  • did you listen to machete its alot like this song

  • Sin duda un Dios de la guitarra

  • this was always my favourite track from colma, as well as machete

  • Thank god this guitar prodigy didnt join Axl rose and his entourage of morons...he's simply brilliant

  • did he help write some parts of the new record cuz some of the solos sound like his style

  • yes he sure did...but axl claims otherwise...that album's full of sessions musicians and not a band...but u shud check out buckethead playing nightrain with em live...awesome

  • axl doesnt claim anything.. buckets name is everywhere in the CD booklet. You can hear him all over Chinese Democracy and you can read it in the booklet too!!!!!

  • he wrote some of the music, and on songs like shacklers revenge and (i think) scraped, he is noted (as carroll) to be one of the lyrics' co-writers

  • Fucking badass jam. Machete is also overlooked and is one of his best songs. IMO

  • I love machete :)

  • Buckethead likes all type of music including hip hops so im sure he wouldnt mind

  • He's channeling Jan Hammer.

  • i no every one is gona hate me for this but i evan thin bucket head wud agree i think this song wud be sick wiv a "good" rap track ova it like biggie smalls or sumit

  • i think that would be kinda sick actually.

  • no it would ruin it.

  • no...just no

  • Think what you will. I'm gonna hate you not for your opinion, but I will for your lack of grammar. Learn to type your words.

  • i knew it the white stripes - seven nation army they stole the bass riff xP

  • incase nobody else got that joke. whitestripes dont have a bass player

  • lolz.

but it does sount slightly similar to seven nation army.

not quite the same though. 2nd note is higher than the one in seven nation army.

  • goddamn metaphoric video and huge track. they carry the big dead ragdoll... i want to do it but at the same time i don't like explaining metaphors, damn XD

  • bordertown you are so rite about this song

i've been listening to buckethead fer a while and i've never heard Sanctum and i listen to it now and it's RLY good. It's overlooked though.....

  • every new song of buckethead i discover is favorited, damn... he's filling all my page lol

  • something like 30 out of my 50 favorites are buckethead. possibly the best guitarist ever to live

  • besides whitewash the best solo on colma, thanks for sharing and 5 stars....no one should even attempt to cover buckethead, cause no one will do it as good as him :D....all hail buckethead.

  • To "zachos"

Almost everything you said was an opinion.

  • ok and that's supposed to mean something to me?

  • Maybe, maybe not.

  • .....your posts are pointless and don't pertain to the video being discussed so just be quiet and sit in your corner.

  • Well I'm not making any noise...

And do you really think that just because you told me to I am just going to stop commenting ?

Well it doesn't matter because you are wrong if you did think so.

In conclusion, your comment to me was pointless, and didn't pertain to the video.

  • catchy

  • hills of eternity is great too

  • SANCTUM AND MACHETE...best on album, along with whitewash

  • White wash is a tune man. Its well sick, how its so simple but so drastic. This album is colma right?

  • white stripes ripped this song off >_>

  • Which song did they do?

  • then they should die ni ine rippes off the Bucket

  • i dont think they ripped off buckethead. if they did, they would explode. no one rips of Buckethead.

  • Kick ass

  • I was waiting SO long for this song to be on YT!

    Awesome song.
