Well, personally, I am not an Anette hater and I love the new album. I think she's sweet and sincere and has a good voice, but it's just not the same Nightwish. Tarja had an exceptional voice and was one of the things that classified the bands the most, but then again, it was their decision to kick her out for WHATEVER REASON and I have no business poking around in it, and I still love Nightwish. It's not all about vocals.

Personally I think Anette has a beautiful voice. I don't get what so many Nightwish fans have against her, both she and Tarja have excellent voices, just in different ways.
The problem is we're so used to Tarja singing and when Anette sings the old songs it's so different that many respond negatively. The new songs are good and we're not comparing them as much to Tarja. Personally, I like them both. Anette sings well and tries hard. I look forward to hearing more of them and hopefully, another album of Tarja on her own.

The problem is we're so used to Tarja singing and when Anette sings the old songs it's so different that many respond negatively. The new songs are good and we're not comparing them as much to Tarja. Personally, I like them both. Anette sings well and tries hard. I look forward to hearing more of them and hopefully, another album of Tarja on her own.
