The only reason Peter knocked him out was because Hiro wanted to hear his side of the story, because if you think about it you'll realize it's alot easier to swing and cut off someones head from behind without them noticeing you then it is to actually grab them like Hiro did.
I cant wait to Thrusday. I dont really want them to fight, Peter seems to have taken a turn for the dark side but I know its Adam and he will returned to his heroic self. I imange Peter will win cause of his powers and the way the storyline favours, but it'll be a good fight.
Peter isn't an idiot. His memory was erased, and Adam tricked him into thinking he was trying to save the planet. Despite the entire company saying he was dangerous.
This is basically all Hiro's fault, if he had left 1671 when he was supposed to (until he said he 'couldn't come home yet') then none of this would have happened.
