  • People just don't care for jazz like they used to. But I love it!!

  • I appologize to you all guys fo my previous comments. I just wanted to express my appreciation for Freddie Green, but I've done that the way it should never be done, so again my deapest appology! I took that insane comment away to prevent any other negative reactions here.

  • @bigbandzusik Everyone is entitled to their opinion but this was a very asinine comment to make, obviously Will is getting the job done, he's held that chair since 1996.

  • @bigbandzusik: Matthews sounds fine, the problem is that he is mixed too loud in relation to the brass and saxes, and the rest of rhythm section. Green's playing was felt as much as heard, IMO.

  • videolover61: That was the first incarnation of the band I saw too.

I was 13 years old and they had come to play a concert at a local high school.

    It changed my life FOREVER.

  • Damn do they swing!!!

  • TOO SLOW

  • @robertpinnisi

    IDIOT

  • Very authentic basie style piano solo there! Right on!

  • @mastersgta1 Tony Suggs captures Basie's style beautifully here.

  • I'm having a hard time hearing them....what's wrong with the audio?

  • Trust me folk's...I grew up with this orchestra...and this is NOT Basie at it's best!

  • @gailfinn Of course they are only just playing Basie music, a good version - but that's all. Basie just got something out of his musicians, to get that sound, precision, power and emotions - which only Basie at the helm could get. But I am happy that Bill Hughes is still leading a Basie music band

  • @gailfinn

    moron

  • They used microphone! why???

  • still vibing on Zollar!

  • Sounds good but what's wrong with the audio?

  • Master Zollar so amazing wooww greeetings from Venezuelaaa. Leyxer Cardozaa

  • Too slow lol jk it was great!

  • This is a little faster than the original. So no not really too slow.

  • Oh man is Tony Suggs ever nailing Basie's style to the Tee!!!
