I agree in part with that statement. I don't think its quite that simple because the Palestinians feel wronged also and they have been .Israel has tried and put a great effort into not harming children but there have been times when they tried less than others. The soldiers at some of the posts aren't very forgiving at time. I don't mean to say I think that justifies any of the violence just that we need both sides to set down arms for peace. A war continued by hate that could end.

I don't think thats fair to say, if the Arabs layed down their weapons then the United States and Israel would destroy them for their natural resources. I believe that the idea of an independant Jewish state is good but that in practice it has become so corrupt that all it is going to do is cause problems. If we could go back to 1948 and try again with the knowledge we now have I believe that it would be possible to avoid many of the problems we now face.

I met a former Lebanese terrorist (PLO, Muslim Brotherhood, etc.) who became a Christian and he has stated that the only goal of the Palestinians and Arabs is to destroy Israel and the Jews.

Visiting Israel for the first time, I must confess, THIS was the most inspiring trip abroad I've ever made.

The medical achievements of Israel are very impressive. That side of Israel never seems to make the news here in the US. Israel seems quite beautiful too,nit could pass for Miami with the streets lined with palm trees. I never thought about it, but to have a booming economy in such a voalitile region is quite remarkable.
