I can't remember what book I had that was about NYC graf or writing but Rammellzee was explaining meaning of the destruction and reconstruction of the word and letter form and I was amazed because this wasn't coming from a philogist as one would might think, but myself, hailing from California, which does NOT have a subway history of writing culture,and voraciously absorbing information about writing it was fascinating.
