Nicely done. Always love this song done simply without excessive embellishment. All the sentiment of the song is intact. I like Norah Jones but now I hear so many singers sing "Nearness..." with her substitutions and to me they're ugly. Being a sideman for jazz vocalists I get to play it over and over again and cringe every time I hear the Norah Jones representation of the song.
I've been listening in repeated ocassions to this excellent, easy-going, so cool and refreshing Annie Sellick, Bergeson and Emmanuel version of this Hoagy Carmichael's most beautiful classic! Never tired to coming back to listening to it! You all are just wonderful!!! Annie, you're the BEST for this oldie!!!
Phew......I'm stunned here! This music reaches right out thru my computer's monitor and GRABS me! I wanna buy "pinknblues" and "Mr. Bangor" a drink, and just kick back and ENJOY.....the music. Wonderful wonderful video, wonderful music, a privilege to hear. Thank you.
Oh boy this is purely beautiful!!! I think Pat pulled that "mystery chord" out of his beard? Wherever they came from, I'm listening again, and favoriting this one. NOT ENOUGH STARS TO PRAISE but I'll try.....
This is so so so good. One of my dreams is to visit down town Manhattan and spend the night in some little jazz club and I hope maybe you will be singing there with these guys. Do these clubs exist?
This is outstanding. I love Tommy's guitar solo. It calls opon some old familiar blues and jazz melodies mixed with a bunch of Tommy's spontaneity, flair, and feeling.
It's funny at the end when the camera pans out and it looks like there's like 15 guys watching in this tiny little club. It's a shame more people couldnt have seen this performance live, i know i would have liked to.
that Tommy is an amazing player -- Pat has a unique style, as well, and Annie is very cool...!

I love this. I have always adored her voice (hi, Annie, it's JT :D), and seeing her like this is just amazing. One of my favorite singers ever.

Tommy ruined it. Excellent vocals and comping on the Tele. But the flippant just couldn't shut up. Nevertheless very inspirational.
