I tried the beta for this recently. It seems pretty damn good (for beta of course). My only real complaint is that it comes with ENB installed. This should really be an optional extra, because my computer can't really handle it and most people are probably happy enough to be playing San Andreas with RAGE engine lighting and physics. Yes, I know there is a file for removing it, but it didn't really work correctly with EFLC (which I was using), and it removed most of the stock effects, which sucks

This gameplay footage is very old. Since this video they have reworked the timecyc files etc and it has a less gloomy feel. There are also visual mods like VisualIV and ENB which are compatable with this mod. I suggest you check out the forums and look at the screens on the first page.

Also to add while R* Vancouver is working on Max Payne 3 the other studios can be working on old games on the Rage engine.Because all studios dose not work on the same game there R* North,London,Leeds,San diago, Vancouver,Witch not all of them are not developing at the same time.So they can work separate from each other.they could do it quicker like u know multitasking they could be working on this on week and work on that and make progress on both.also will there be a gta3 Rage of the old LC.

Now can I ask yawl a Question if you guys can port Grand theft auto SAN on R.A.G.E Then Why come Rockstar games cant. All of the old Grand theft auto Games should be remade on Rage with Normal maps and bump maps. I thought Grand theft auto 3 would be remade in HD but i guess we want be seeing that for a while. Why Rockstar would love to play GTA 3 VC LC LCS VCS on Rage with Real explosions and normal maps and bump maps that make the game look twice as better. I want GTAs Remake on R.A.G.E.

1. The team aren't porting the whole game. Missions are like deeply coded into the game so it's very hard to just erase or make new missions so they won't be included sorry. Converting the map is quite a big job in its self!

2. I think rockstar should focus on making a whole new gta rather than remaking old stuff into rage.

3. Rockstar employ hundreds if not thousands of people so they have the resources bit they have to make other games aswell e.g la noire, red dead

IK its a big job Extracting textures,models,reconverting,s­cripting. Im saying Rockstar can program the Rage engine to use the old Cut scenes what the old gtas has and just remake the models in HD,add normal map to the original textures,bump maps,and the models.But also it is possible R* dose surprise us. just like with L.A noire and other R* titles.but one studio could be focusing on new game while the other studios are porting just like Vancouver with Max Payne 3 there working mostly on it.
