I'm not sure if you know what a monopoly is, with a monopoly there is NO competition leaving the company to do as it will. And don't think an unregulated monopoly won't use whatever means necessary to destroy any and all competition. We absolutely need regulations in order to ensure fairness.

@vfreeck The only reason companies can "monopolize" is because the government decided to interfere and created anti-trust laws and other such nonsense. If companies were given free reign there would be no such thing as "monopolies" because "monopolies" can be easily broken up by competition. No idiot is going to stand by and let one guy hoard all the money when he knows he can do better. All government regulations are designed to favor a corrupt entity and score political points at the same time

@odiousinterneter The reason why the anti-trust laws were created in the first place was to combat the monopoly of Standard Oil among others. Ma Bell was broken up in order to create competition. I'm not sure if you know what a monopoly is, with a monopoly there is NO competition leaving the company to do as it will. And don't think an unregulated monopoly won't use whatever means necessary to destroy any and all competition. We absolutely need regulations in order to ensure fairness.
