Ah man. I need something like this! I've been trying to make a Stargate Fan-Video, but can't find a good way to get my Stargate animated. I'd preferably like pre-rendered footage as I don't have any 3D software... I've just got Premiere Pro and After Effects... Any advice?

Also where did you obtain crystal clear sound effects for the gate, no "TV SFX". Your CG sounds really professional also with the clear gate SFX with no TV extras like music or talking I always hear in others CG dialings. As said before, just missing the Gate activation sound effect and the Chevron locking is a bit faster than on TV when its dialing, but don't take those the wrong way, I'm loving this CG Milky Way Stargate animation a ton, looks VERY professional and clean. Thumbs up!!!

@Fudgewhelp The "Burp" are the fluctuations in the event Horizon (Samantha Carter SG1-Season1-Episode1). This always happens when something passes through.

I came up with two idea's to why an Unstable vortex is generated

1: the event horizon is without the Kawoosh is deadly and the stargate ejects the unstable matter in that form

2: Ive read that natural wormholes in space easily collapse, possibly due to unstable particles rendering the wormhole susceptible to collapse, the stargate eject's these particles

The kawoosh is a bit too fast, and the "Aroo-roo" sound before the gate engages should be more prominent... But very good. A lot better than some of the crap I see on here.

Next time you make a Stargate, Can you make it slower.

I think the dialing sequence and the kawoosh is way to fast.

This is EPIC!!!!! im sure there has to be the sound for something going through the gate somewhere.... they have the one from the series in aVoN's Stargate addon for Gmod i beleave....

it would REALLY be epic if you were to do the entire sequence but i already saw your response to that, too bad.... It also seems like the sequence is kinda fast.... the chevron barley locks when the gate activates in here, doesnt really matter but meh...

Sadly it wasnt meant to sound like burp... Just the flolp sound fo when something passes through the gate. I didnt have that actual sound effect so i had to make it :( Didnt mean to make it sound like a burp
