Metatron is a Seraphim, an archangel highest above all, and almost as powerful as God. A book-keeper for God's knowledge library, Metratron is not a demon nor Satan.

Yes, Metatron has been described as seraphim, archangel, voice of God, book-keeper, "heavenly scribe", and also the "supreme angel of death" (Johann Eisenmenger) as a demon (as the evil Sammael, Angels A to Z, page 274) or even Satan (wrestled with Jacob at Peniel, Genesis 32). Check it out. I think he was the dishwasher at a Denny's I ate at in Tacoma, WA, actually.
