  • and ..... DONE my homework .

  • thanks did my homework :]

  • does anybody know what's the name of the song in 0:38? please answer, it's really important! :)

  • @damkamano You Got The Style - Ahtlete ;)

  • Unfortunately, this video is a simple propaganda (aka. bullshit), missed out the main greenhouse gases (up to 70% around the oceans), WATER VAPOR. In addition, human activity is responsible for just a fraction of CO2 in the atmosphere. Most of it comes from natural sources like volcanic activity, aerobic respiration and decay all of living organisms. Human activity gives less Co2 than Volcanoes alone. Now, the best part is that CO2 increases due to temperature, not other way around :).

  • Thank you so much this helped me a lot on an assignment

  • Sure it's getting hot, that's why I'm freezing like I haven't froze for years.

  • wot -_-?

  • The earth is not fucked... people are fucked! This video is bullshit.

  • note how the chart with the CO2 emissions of germany didn't include people and animals breathing,,, i wonder how much that accounts for...

  • yes look what happened in the 40's with hitler and germany good idea sit and do nothing!

  • Thanks very much for the help !! this helped a lot

  • All right!

I'll sell you the Burt Lancaster hover-mower but don't blame me if it doesn't get the dust out from under the fridge..

  • If you want to see a totally unbiased, sensible discovery regarding climate variation, that by the way gives the reason for the Little Ice age and the Warm period, then Google Solarchords com, I challenge anyone to seriously study and fully understand the information before making their mind up. The author, Fred Bailey, is a private unfunded individual who still believes in doing things based on an honest, sensible and unbiased approach in a search for the truth

  • @howardsway782 Thanks for the link, ive been looking for somethig like this. This video seemed unbiased untill they showed water pouring over the liberty statue for the '5m sea level rise'.

  • Anyone who believes this is mentally retarded. None of these predictions are coming true. I thought this would be a little more intellectual, oh well.

  • do you realise what we are doing!!!!! are we gonna sit here and do nothing!

500 million years ago our planet used to be much more blue.

now it is all brown and black.

  • Bad news for CAGW. Dr. Schmittner's paper is coming out in SCIENCE proposing IPCC's CO2/climate sensitivity assumptions are wrong. It proposes a doubling of CO2 would only increase global temps by 2.3 C; not even close to the 6 C IPCC suggests. That's assuming CO2 is even a climate DRIVER, which paleoclimatology suggests isn't true. CO2 rises naturally during natural global warming due to the outgassing phenomenon. CAGW is dying and is "bargaining" now; just depression & acceptance remains. LOL

  • 4/5ths of greenhouse gases are nitrogen. And 1/5th is oxygen. All other gases make up less then 1%. This video is just wrong, don't listen to it.

  • Our atmosphere is made up of 0.0360% CO2. Global warming is NOT man-made but a natural occurrence which is part of the planets climate fluctuation. These increases in temperature have been strongly correlated to sun-spot activity, far more so then any increase in CO2 in the atmosphere. The fact that temperatures actually dropped during industrialization in developed nations where noticeable amounts of CO2 were being produced points to the fact that the whole theory is bogus.

  • fuck CO2!!!!!!

  • When these gases are ranked by their direct contribution to the greenhouse effect, the most important are:

    Water vapor H2O 36 – 72 %

    Carbon dioxide CO2 9 – 26 %

    Methane CH4 4 – 9 %

    Ozone O3 3 – 7 %

    (source: wikipedia)

    whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

  • we must save our planet as people of earth

  • Carbon tax is an absolutely disgusting crime against Humanity. CO2 does not drive climate, it never has, it never will, the Sun does....

The Great Global Warming Swindle [Full Film]

    watch?v=T8KgbUvsC_o

  • @Galv140577 You clearly have no Idea what Greenhouse effect means now do you?

  • @GTXMAN Of course I do. You clearly have no idea whats going on in the world do you. The greenhouse effect plays a very small role in driving global climate. It's driven by the Sun & regulated by the oceans. The effect man-made CO2 emissions have on climate is extremely futile. Don't believe the propaganda spouted by the climate-stability deniers. They are trying very hard to ADMITTEDLY steal ten times the amount of money that even their own imaginary man made global warming would cost lol

  • @Galv140577 Then how do you explain that high slope in temperatures since the industrial revolution.I think your the one that is full of propaganda ,Industrial propaganda thats for sure

  • @GTXMAN

Does Ice Mass gain support your "high slope" ?

I fear it is you that has swallowed the propaganda ~ even the scientists at the heart of the research are lost as to where the heat that they predicted has gone to?

  • @PrairleDogged A strange quensidence,The industrial revolution starts and the climate becomes warmer, dont you think?

  • @GTXMAN

And what caused the Medieval Warm Period ? where temperatures were warmer than todays across the globe?

  • @PrairleDogged I dont know,But do you know?

  • @GTXMAN

I think it is fair to assume that the industrial revolution played no part in it whatsoever ;o)

  • @PrairleDogged Yes,but you cant be sure it isn't playing part in today's climate warming either.

  • @GTXMAN

No nothing is certain in this world but when cyclical events take the Earth through climatic swings it is the most likely explanation.

  • @GTXMAN A large part of the "high slope" is fabricated data. You may have noticed that all the other plannets in the solar system have undergone a simultaneous period of "global warming". This shows that it is due only to the Sun. Also the Ocean PDO cycle thingy has been in warm mode during the same period & is now due to switch to cold. Whether it has been warming or cooling depends on what data & period you look at. The global climate ALWAYS remains stable & the fluctuation is perectly normal.

  • World is dying, but UK is getting better :D

  • is the only comments on this video two guy having a bitch?

  • @rugbyguy59 googling "evidence of current global cooling" returns 639,000 results... do you want me to quote all the facts & names of scientists involved?

  • At the same time as the sea ice is rapidly expanding, the polar bear population is thriving, we're having cold harsh winters & mild summers, they're forcing toxic waste on us by making incandescant lightbulbs contraband & insisting on us having dangerous CFL bulbs in our homes instead, saying it will save you money on electricity bills while charging more & more for electricity, all they have to do is use HAARP to stir up some bad weather & then say "global warming did it".

    False flag weather.

  • @Galv140577 Your claims about sea ice, polar bears, CFL bulbs, and grand conspiracies to ruin the economy and depopulate the earth would be a whole lot more convincing if you had a shred of evidence. But what becomes more evident all the time is you have no idea where these myths you repeat come from. You are simply an intellectual zombie lurching through life eating dead ideas to keep you going.

  • @rugbyguy59 What fucking plannet are you on? "A shred of evidence", "grand conspiracies". I can't get my breath, I can't believe you have the absolute fucking gall to call such blatantly obvious facts "myths" when you are the one trying to promote "global warming" which at the very most IS nothing more than a stupid fucking myth. Take your global warming bullshit & choke on it.

  • @Galv140577 Facts need proving. Not wild conjecture. You provide no sources or evidence. Your facts only a fragment of the whole picture, pure falsehoods, or your opinion.

The amount of documented, vetted science that supports AGW is massive. I've provided sources to back up my assertions and have said I'm more than willing to look at the details of any argument you like if you can actually stick to one. But all you are is a guy with his fingers in his ears and his eyes tightly shut.

  • @rugbyguy59

"Dr. Don Easterbrook, a geologist and professor emeritus at Western Washington University, has presented data that shows a cooler and wetter climate is in order for the next 25 to 30 years. The Pacific Ocean has a warm temperature mode and a cool temperature mode known as the Pacific Decadal Oscillation or PDO, he said in a recent study. "

    -Washington Examiner

  • @Galv140577 Don Easterbrook predicted that we should see a global cooling of 2 to 5°F (1.1 to 2.8°C) from 2000 to 2030 based on a shift in the Pacific Decadal Oscillation. We're now one-third of the way into this supposed cooling period and the planet has warmed approximately 0.1°C.

  • @rugbyguy59 Just like the May 21st rapture which was a non event, your global warming scaremongering will be a non event. Get used to it.

  • @david222444 Get used to the fact that global warming is already happening, the effects are already being felt. I'm afraid it's your faith based ice age that is comparable to the non existent rapture event.

You obviously can't back up any claims you make with real science. You say science is about proving ideas then prove some of yours. You have no proof, no consensus, just zombie arguments given to you by propagandists.

  • See the cloud mystery. Planet Earth is now getting cooler and cooler. The atmosphere actually cools the earth in daylight.

  • @david222444 Sure the atmosphere keeps the earth cooler in the day. The moon it gets up to 107oC. But the atmosphere also keeps the earth warmer at night. The moon goes down as far as -153oC. But what's your actual point? Overall the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere keeps it much warmer than it would be without. No greenhouse gases = no liquid water.

What data source are you citing for that ridiculous claim that the earth is getting cooler and cooler. The last decade was the warmest on record.

  • @rugbyguy59 You want to know my acual point. My point is that global warming is GOOD, we can easily adapt to it. If sea level slowly rises then we simply build away from the flooding! Unfortunately it is Global cooling which is now the reality, this will be much more difficult to adapt to. Carbon dioxide is flowing through your veins yet you try to demonise it. Time you had a reality check and stop living in a period of past warming caused by the Sun. Go search.and use your brain.

  • @david222444 Demonize? Since when is stating proven properties of CO2, and the obvious consequences, of those properties demonizing? Seems you have a fear of the truth. And what data source are you quoting to demonstrate cooling? I can list 5 that say it's warming. I would love it if the 1 billion people who are displaced by flooding and loss of water could move and thrive as easily as you say, but the people with brains don't agree with you. The sun has been flat since 1980. Look at the facts

  • @david222444 I love stupid statements like this: "Carbon dioxide is flowing through your veins yet you try to demonise it." Have you noticed that our bodies work to get that CO2 out of our bodies as quickly as possible? It's a waste product and would be toxic if we didn't. But that doesn't mean CO2 is bad. It is what it is. It is vital for life but that doesn't mean drastically and rapidly increasing the amount in the atmosphere is in our interests

But you continue your mindless CO2 worship.

  • @rugbyguy59 Yes it is a waste product used by plants to produce our food. Science is not about concensus it is about proving theories and as the greenhouse theory has not been proven in the 40 years it first came to light, it should be rejected. You are spouting nothing but sensless propaganda. Where are the 50 million refugees from sea level rise by 2010. The sea level is not rising and the planet is cooling? Was last winter cold for you? Solar scientist now predict decades of cooling.

  • @david222444 "Science is not about concensus it is about proving theories"

That's absolutely right but once theories have been proven they become the consensus. The greenhouse was discovered by Joseph Fourier in 1824, first experimented on by John Tyndall in 1858, and first reported quantitatively by Svante Arrhenius in 1896. If you can prove it's wrong write a paper and win a Nobel prize.

That humans have altered climate by enhancing the GHE is a fact. Just saying it isn't doesn't change that.

  • @rugbyguy59 the greenhouse theory never has nor never will be proven. You live in a world of computer models trying to predict a future full of fear and doom, while the real climate is acting quite differently. Co2 is released after the planet heats up. If the propaganda is ignored and human intelligence used , one can see that a trace gas cannot produce this effect on the whole climate. The Sun's activity caused the warming just as its inactivity will cause the present cooling.

  • @david222444 "the greenhouse theory never has nor never will be proven"

Show me one science web site that says the GHE isn't proven. Just one. Denying the effects of these trace gases shows the depths of your ignorance. What would we expect to see if it was the GHE in action? Nights warming faster than days; Winters warming faster than summers; the troposphere warming; the stratosphere cooling; the tropopause warming; less energy escaping and more returning to earth. All things we've measured.

  • @david222444 "Where are the 50 million refugees from sea level rise by 2010"

Who claimed there were? I don't believe just anything I hear from any source. I look into it. I know I've never claimed any sea level rise climate refugees. The IPCC certainly never have. Can you find any source that says "50 million refugees from sea level rise by 2010'? You still can't provide a source for cooling so I doubt you can give a source for that either. Or for no sea level rise.

  • @david222444 "Was last winter cold for you? Solar scientist now predict decades of cooling."

Yes it was, why does that matter?

Yes a few have suggested a possible cooling sun, but no consensus has developed on that. Feulner & Rahmstorf (2010) modelled what would happen if the sun went into maunder minimum. Turned out it would only slow warming by 0.1oC by 2100. A minor effect. Turns out human CO2 emissions would overwhelm the change. Cooler sun wouldn't equal cooler climate.

  • @rugbyguy59 Co2 is too insignificant to overwhelm the massive forcing of the climate by the Sun,Oceans and volcanoes, you need to sort out what is big and what is small. Nature does not care about the greenhouse theory, she is taking the opposite path whether you like it or not. Join the real world and live in the present, no one not even a computer model can predict the future. A trend can be broken in the blink of an eye. I look forward to another freezng winter, so much for snow will be rare.

  • @david222444 "Co2 is too insignificant to overwhelm the massive forcing of the climate by the Sun,Oceans and volcanoes, you need to sort out what is big and what is small"

I let scientists do that for me. You mistake a big constant source of energy that has minor fluctuations with something that changes a great deal. The sun supplies our energy but it's cyclical changes are tiny. We've increased the concentration of a key GHG by 40% and it has a more powerful forcing effect than solar changes.

  • @david222444 "the massive forcing of the climate by...,Oceans and volcanoes"

Oceans do have cycles that have big yearly and decadal effects but where they warm one place they cool another. The long term effects balance.

With volcanoes the do have big effects. Large eruptions put out lots of cooling aerosols. Any big volcanic eruptions lately? The warming forcing of volcanoes is...wait for it...CO2. LOL

And we are outproducing volcanoes by 100x or more.

  • @rugbyguy59 troll much?

  • @Galv140577 So a troll is someone who knows all the facts not just bits and pieces and presents a detailed argument on the topic of discussion with sources to back it up?

Gee, I always thought it meant something else.

  • @rugbyguy59 STOP LYING!!!

    For instance:

"And we are outproducing volcanoes by 100x or more" !??

    WHAT?!!

Where the hell do you get such blatant bullshit?

About 0.3 % of the atmosphere is CO2.

About 1% of the CO2 on Earth comes from human activity.

FACT: The volcanoes On Earth in one year put out more CO2 than all recorded human activity in history.

  • @Galv140577 "FACT: The volcanoes On Earth in one year put out more CO2 than all recorded human activity in history"

And what's the source for this supposed fact? Moerner and Etiope (2002) and Kerrick (2001) reviewed all scientific papers estimating volcanic emissions. The range they both found was 65 to 319 million tonnes of CO2 per year. The EIA say humans produce 29-30 billion tons per year. That is 100x more. The USGA says humans emit 100-300x as much per year.

    So what's your source?

  • @Galv140577 "About 0.3 % of the atmosphere is CO2.

About 1% of the CO2 on Earth comes from human activity."

CO2 concentrations have risen 40% in the past 150 years. This has occurred due to human activities involving burning fossil fuels and changes to land use. You obviously don't understand the carbon cycle. Yearly human emissions add new CO2 to the atmosphere, all the other stuff is just going in and out of plants and oceans. C13/12 ratios tell us it's us raising the CO2. (Ghosh 2003)

  • @david222444 "Yes it is a waste product used by plants to produce our food"

Yes that is a nice balanced cycle isn't it. However evidence for adding CO2 to the atmosphere is mixed for plant growth. It causes increased growth for some plants. For others it has no effect or makes them more toxic or less nutritious or more vulnerable to insect infestation

More importantly turning productive land into drought stricken regions will slow food production. The earth isn't a controlled greenhouse you know

  • @rugbyguy59 Oceans are big , the Sun is big , co2 is small. Is that simple enough for you because you are now boring me.

  • What kind of moron comes out with shit like "it's spring on Neptune" lol When it's summer on one side of the plannet it's winter on the other, get it? Autum on one side spring on the other. If it's spring on Neptune it's also Autum on Neptune. Just goes to show you can only see half the picture. You sir are literally a half-wit.

  • @Galv140577 Oops, sorry, it's actually summer starting on Neptune. Which does mean it's winter elsewhere. You should tell that to your denier buddies though because they say summer equals global warming. The increased luminosity on Neptune and It's moon Triton is being caused by the coming of summer in the part of Neptune most visible to us at the moment not planetary warming. You're all half wits by your own definition.

P.S that video had no referenced science just words. Where are the sources?

  • 34 years in a row above the 1950-1981 global average

    Top 10 warmest years on record from NOAA: 1) 2010 & 2005 3) 1998 4) 2002 5) 2003 6) 2009 7) 2006 8) 2007 9) 2004 10) 2001

NASA says: 2010, 2005 are 1-2 with 2009, 2007, 2006, 2003,2002,1998 in a virtual tie. As NASA says, "The warmest decade on record."

And of course until this decade the 90s were the warmest decade. And before that the 80s were.

The increasing Greenhouse effect matches the observations.

  • Actually it's been getting cooler for a decade. And explain this...

"greenhouse gases" stop heat from escaping into space but don't stop heat from space escaping into the Earth? lol

CO2 is absorbed by plants which get larger faster when there is more CO2 so the more CO2 there is the more food & oxygen we get, oh & the faster the CO2 gets removed so it balances out. CO2 is the solution not the problem. What's destroying the plannet? The plannet is not being destroyed at all you fucking LIAR!!

  • @Galv140577 "And explain this...."greenhouse gases" stop heat from escaping into space but don't stop heat from space escaping into the Earth?"

If you don't even understand the most basic aspects why do you post on the topic and look like a complete fool. The sun's rays enter mainly in the visible spectrum. GHGs don't stop that part of the spectrum. The energy is absorbed by the earth and reemitted as infra red. GHGs absorb that part of the spectrum.

Easy peasey. And your English is shit too.

  • @Galv140577 "CO2 is absorbed by plants which get larger faster when there is more CO2 so the more CO2 there is the more food & oxygen we get, oh & the faster the CO2 gets removed so it balances out."

Then why have atmospheric CO2 concentrations risen by 40% in the last 150 years? It rises by almost 3ppm each year. That couldn't happen if your "theory" is correct.

No, the planet is not dying, but the type of world we have always lived in is.

How, pray tell, is CO2 the answer? Answer to what?

  • @rugbyguy59 where do you get that info? anyway the increased CO2 is not a threat, it would have to increase 100's of times for it to even begin to cause even the slightest problems

  • @Galv140577 I got that "info" from the appropriate sources. TO understand the GHE go to any basic science text or one of the many good science pages on the web. To find out about CO2 concentrations go to NASA or NOAA or one of the many quality science sources.

Where do you get the idiotic increase 100s of times figure? No scientist would support that not even denier scientists. We're already seeing problems with a 40% rise.

  • @rugbyguy59 No were not. we're told these are the hottest years on record but thats simply not true the data is not genuine it's been cooling for a decade, & what's even more scarey is that it's been cooling despite the increased output from the sun. The shrinking of the icecaps on Earth has been shown to mirror exactly the shrinking of the icecaps on Mars & all the other plannets( where man-made global warming doesn't occur either). Look up "the club of Rome". You'll realise you've been lied to

  • @Galv140577 So what is the true data? What data do you cite for a cooling planet?

What is your data source for a warming sun? Most of the 00s had the sun in a deep minimum. Yet it was the warmest decade ever according to the real sources. The sun has not increased since the 80s.

The other planets all warming is bullshit. Mars has fewer dust storms so less albedo. On Neptune it's spring. Other planets are cooling. The best way to measure the sun is to point satellites at it. We've done that.

  • @rugbyguy59 So what if CO2 is a greenhouse gas?

So what if man-made CO2 initially contributes to the global warming effect due to the greenhouse properties of CO2?

You think that's where the story ends. You can't see beyond "the greenhouse effect". You completely ignore "the iris effect" which is equally as significant as the greenhouse effect.

Know where your food comes from? Without CO2 you don't eat. You die. Plants need CO2

Global Warming bogus, Ice Age approaching

    watch?v=Gpa8o1hrrK4

  • @Galv140577 The Greenhouse effect is backed up by 150 years of science. The Iris effect is a hypothesis with no science backing it up, but you raising it is typical denier. In one post you say the planet warms and cools and in this one you say there is a natural process that stops warming. You're contradicting yourself.

Those who understand climate know it doesn't stop with CO2, but when none of the other factors are not in play and CO2 explains things extremely well we know where the truth is.

  • @Galv140577 So are you going to defend any of your points by providing actual data or some other genuine evidence of any of your points or will you just go on and post a bunch of other baseless claims. I'm ready to stick with one and compare the science study by study. I doubt if you dare or know how.

  • @rugbyguy59 I'm not interested in doing your homework for you. You should be more affraid of the government forcing you to buy toxic CFL bulbs instead of good old clean incandescent ones, or imposing ridiculous & crippling carbon taxes that will do nothing but harm, serious harm, lots of real harm. There is no global warming threat either man-made or otherwise. The climate does change often but there is no harm in that. Theres plenty of suppressed ways to produce environmentally friendly energy.

  • @Galv140577 By the way if you get your electricity from coal generation CFLs will reduce mercury getting into the environment even if you dispose of them incorrectly. And mercury vapour has always been in traditional fluorescent bulbs. If all the CFLs in the states went to the dump it would equal 0.1% of all mercury emissions in the country. And you can solve that problem by disposing of them correctly. My house is full of CFLs already.

  • @rugbyguy59 LOL what complete & utter lies. There isn't that much mercury from coal, the regulations are way too strict. Your house being full of CFL explains why you're retarded, you've probably inhaled the mercury. Notice how the CFL bulbs break so easily? I can't wait to see the look on your face when the ice age comes & every lying piece of shit scumbag global warming scare mongerer has to admit they're full of shit. You're full of shit. It's the middle of Summer & its cold here.

  • @Galv140577 LOL, you should look something up before you say its lies.

    w w w. energystar. gov/ ia/ partners/ promotions/ change_light/ downloads/ Fact_Sheet_Mercury. p df

Your knowledge here is as pathetic as your knowledge about AGW in general. But you're consistent.

I've been using CFLs for years, never had one break. It isn't "the middle of summer" anywhere right now and saying an ice age is coming because it's cold in you backyard this year is moronic. You really haven't got a clue do you?

  • @rugbyguy59 "energystar" I rest my case

  • @Galv140577 Much better source than anything you've provided. But if you want a different one try this: ht tp: //pubs. acs.org/ doi/ full/10. 1021/ es8025566

or just go to google scholar and search CFLs mercury emissions

  • @rugbyguy59 Not interested. The greenhouse effect is not the only thing driving the climate, there is the iris effect which counter-acts what the greenhouse gasses do. CFL bulbs are toxic & completely unecessary. Plants thrive on CO2, to produce more food & oxygen for us all. The facts speak for themselves, I don't have anything more to add.

  • @Galv140577 I know you've nothing left to add. Your list of facts are really just a tiny part of each story, typical denier behaviour. A real skeptic looks all facts and checks how it all fits together. They don't just find the bits that suit their position and pretend the rest don't exist

The Iris Theory died. Stowasser (2006), Lauer (2010), Clement (2009) and Dessler(2010) all indicate clouds could provide a small negative feedback more likely a positive one. Lintzen failed to prove it

  • @rugbyguy59 Frauds. There's more than just the iris effect which provides ample negative feedback to counter the small greenhouse effect that the tiny amount of CO2 in the atmosphere has. Dirty tricks is all fake global warming scare mongerers have.

You're forwarding an agenda of depopulation by crippling taxation & legislation. In contrast the effects of global warming would be much more bearable, especially when there's actually global cooling going on which is much worse than global warming.

  • @Galv140577 "There's more than just the iris effect which provides ample negative feedback to counter the small greenhouse effect that the tiny amount of CO2 in the atmosphere has"

Name them. Hopefully they aren't fictional like the iris effect.

I can just as easily say you're following the agenda of depopulation to avoid a tax that has only a minor negative effect on the economy and you don't even have to pay if you use non-carbon energy.

Once again, where is your evidence for cooling?

  • @rugbyguy59 Want some more dogshit?

"NOAA Reports That 1998 Temperature Was 1.3 Degrees Warmer Than 2010; U.S. Cooling At -9.4° Per Century Rate"

  • @Galv140577 Of course, I know that looking at temperature trends over such a short period of time doesn't tell you anything anyway because the climate naturally varies ALL THE TIME. To get any significant data that has any meaning or makes any sense at all you have to look at 100's 1000's 10's of 1000's if not millions of years. When you do that you see no significant climate change. NONE. It's not "consensus" FFS it's common sense. Everyone knows the UN lies. The UN is pure EVIL.

  • @Galv140577 "The UN is pure EVIL"

And you expect people other than looney conspiracy nuts to take you seriously? The UN is a flawed organization however you don't win arguments by making assumptions especially idiotic claims that the UN is pure evil. LOL

Climate trends do not need to be taken over 100s or even millions of years. Temperature trends become statistically significant to 95% confidence in a couple decades. You're still repeating the same inane, meaningless arguments.

  • @Galv140577 NASA agrees you don't know shit.

"WASHINGTON -- Global surface temperatures in 2010 tied 2005 as the warmest on record, according to an analysis released Wednesday by researchers at NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York."

    htt p://ww w. nasa. gov/ home/ hqnews/2011/jan/HQ_11-014_Warmest_Year. h tml

But you specialize in dog shit.

  • @rugbyguy59 You think I have any respect for someone who quotes the shit that NASA comes out with as though it was fact? lol You're a joke.

  • @Galv140577 So let me get this straight. You introduce NOAA data as a trustworthy source. It turns out you someone gave you the wrong data for NOAA but you felt if it came from NOAA it was trustworthy. So then I show that NASA agreed with NOAA and you say NASA makes things up? How many times are you going to contradict yourself?

Are you one of those fools that believes the moon landing was faked?

  • @rugbyguy59 I just found the first dog turd I came accross & used it to make the chocolate cake you asked for. I hope you enjoyed your chocalte cake. Want some more?

Just google "NASA caught lying" for 51,300 results. I suppose you want quotes, facts, names, dog turds...

  • @Galv140577 ""NASA caught lying" for 51,300 results"

NASA made a mistake and corrected it. 51,300 bloggers thinking they've stumbled onto something of significance and repeating the same bullshit isn't very impressive.

"I just found the first dog turd I came across & used it"

Perfect, you know admit that you use any facts you think will support you and don't bother to check them out or follow them up. You prove your own gullibility. No wonder you are such an easy mark for conspiracy nuts.

  • @rugbyguy59 LOL exactly ...I was copying you!!!

  • @Galv140577 I don't just pick any old web page and believe what they tell me. I look for peer reviewed sources and check them out. What I quote I know I can verify. You don't even know what it means.

  • @Galv140577 "I just found the first dog turd I came accross & used it to make the chocolate cake you asked for."

Also note I looked inside the cake and saw the shit it was made out of. Until I corrected you, you were eating the shit.

  • @Galv140577 You doing my homework. I doubt you're capable. What I wonder is are you capable of doing your own. You make claims but can't cite any relevant science. If one idea is challenged you run off to another, even if that idea is a complete contradiction to the last.

I'd be happy if they put in a good stiff carbon tax, we'd make changes faster. The President of GM just said the US government should put in a $1 per gallon fuel tax. He said it would boost innovation and the economy.

  • @Galv140577 Look up Conspiracy theorist and you'll realize you're living in a paranoid delusion. Deal with real problems in the real world. One of those real issues in AGW.

Of course if you're willing to believe the crap about the club of Rome and the great world conspiracy, it's no wonder you are an easy target for these disinformation peddlers.

GO look up some real science and information at sSkeptical science dot com.

  • @rugbyguy59 ANY CREDIBILITY YOU MIGHT HAVE HAD YOU JUST LOST WITH THE OLD "CALL HIM A CONSPIRACY THEORIST" TECHNIQUE.

A conspiracy is is what you get when people conspire to forward an agenda. The name of the agenda is "Agenda 21" look it up. Everyone who uses money is automatically in on any conspiracy to reward by virtue of providing goods & services anyone who is paid off to forward an agenda. The wealthiest people on Earth are secretly paying to have 90% of us wiped out.

  • @Galv140577 Ahh haha! What a joke. Look who's claiming I lost credibility. The guy that believes Alex Jones and Jessie Ventura. The guy who says it's cooling but has no data to back it up. Who claims a warming sun with no data to back it up. Who claims all planets are warming with no proof.

Face it, you accept any anti-government, anti-common sense propaganda that says everyone else is out to get you. You're a model of the conspiracy freak who can't look at the evidence for himself. Meanwhile...

  • @Galv140577 Meanwhile you listen to propaganda mills, denier morons, and paid off "scientists" while ignoring the mountains of evidence showing the danger of one way a 90% kill event for human beings could occur. Apparently you are under the influence of the very people you fear. They've just convinced you fight their battle for them.

But don't try and avoid the real question. What is your evidence for a cooler planet, warmer sun, and matching changes on other planets? Name your sources please.

  • @rugbyguy59 The plannet is now somewhere between warm & cool, it goes from warm to cool & cool to warm all the time, it's natural. Look at the actual amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, & the other greenhouse gasses, look at how much we put into the atmosphere, water vapour is also a greenhouse gas. You don't realise that the amount of CO2 or whatever man adds to the atmosphere is insignificant, there are natural processes that self-regulate the greenhouse effect automatically.

  • @Galv140577 Of course the planet warms & cools. It's the history of this that tells us how potentially dangerous this warming is. Change always has a cause. We've raised CO2 concentrations by 40% in 150 years. Water vapour is a powerful feedback of warming. By adding CO2 we increase water vapour making it even warmer. The natural "self regulation" processes obviously can't keep up. You apparently have no understanding of the carbon cycle, but why should that be any different than anything else.

  • He talks like he has to yawn. Very annoying.

  • All I know is last winter was a cold bitch

  • @MarioSMB3 Ever heard of trees or algae?

Where do you think the carbon in your brain came from?

    LOL!!!

  • Hi all, just trying to spread the word about a new community site we're putting together based around our planet - earth-forums (dot) com. Take a look if you'd like!

  • This is amazing! Thanks =)

  • thankyou

  • Our surface converts the sun's light into infrared light. Some of this light gets deflected back into space and some of it "trapped" which is known as a the greenhouse effect. It gets trapped through C02, H20, and CH4. (Carbon dioxide, water, and methane). These molecules trap the infrared light by absorption and transferring this heat to other greenhouse gases (as described above). Thus, creating a hotter atmosphere than what the direct light from the Sun provides us. It operates on a balance

  • Carbon dioxide cannot transmit heat back to earth as heat cannot flow from cold to warm. The troposphere(minus 21 degrees celcius) would have to be warmer than the ground. Carbon dioixe and water vapour cools the planet. This video is nothing more than scaremongering propaganda. No we should not be worrying about Global warming quite the opposite.

  • VERY EDUCATIONAL. I have a partial solution, I design walkable neighborhoods and made a video about reducing how much we drive. It's at otis31755 Let me know what you think?

    Patrick Cox, AICP

  • its funny how the total contribution from humans towards green house gasses is a total of 0.28% for our entire existence making the rest all caused by nature/ volcanoes etc

this is an absolute waste of time trying to debate

humans are far to insignificant to effect the earths natural levels ...

  • @hcyman212 I dowanna get fucked ;)

  • 50% is CO2?

If so, how much of it is the result of our production?

I just need a reference to a scientific research paper.

    Thank you.

  • @mcfunthomas There is actually lots of them and none against, thats not the same with the media. Thats why there is a lot of confusion and why people say global warming is some bs. I studied this in my university. If you want to know, do some research of your own and not just Google it. Look at some serious data base like the ones on universities or libraries.

  • @DannyCreator91 If you I studied this at your university, you know and can help me - just point to some of the scientific research papers. Name, say, 3 most important, can you? And I'll try to get them at a local library.

  • @DannyCreator91 I'm still waiting.

The longer I've been waiting the more I'm convinced that you have bluffed.

Can you name JUST ONE scientific research paper on the man-made CO2 significantly contributing to so called Green House Effect? Is it too difficult for someone who boasts, 'I studied this in my university'?

Or you're just another person hoping I will just believe him?

Facts and research - they matter, not your so called 'hot air'.

  • lol...

  • You know what causes heat? Volcanoes, variation in Solar Rays, and ocean currents. This is natural. But no need to worry! Global Cooling is another thing that people can make stuff up from!

  • @BlueKeyAnimations Yes the Earth gets hotter naturally, but human activities involving CO2 and methane are speeding up this process.

  • @DannyCreator91

how much are they speeding up the process?

  • Forget the Greenhouse Effect. The Icehouse Effect has arrived and we now have Global Cooling.

  • what to come shovel 1 foot of global warming off my deck???

  • whats that song that says oh, its getting hot in here

  • There is nothing better than when i drive my Chevy silverado with my duramax diesel and pouring black smoke as i go down the road, i dont care about global warming, as long as i am having fun

  • @duramaxjad4

    That's pure evil.

  • I like the video but it is not in my language..LF

  • @Arkzaid u are writing english, arent u ?

  • I guess not! I can speak some thou.

  • @BreakingBeanjmin I guess not! I can speak some though

  • @BreakingBeanjmin I guess not! I can speak some though...

  • You conveniently left out the fact that water vapor contributes to 95% of all greenhouse gas effects and that humans only "make" about 0.001% of water vapor.

  • @ymom11 Yes, water vapor is responsible for most of the "warming effect", however, the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere is affected by the amount of greenhouse gases present there. So basically, humans DO increase the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere, not directly, but indirectly through greenhouse gas emissions.

  • ironie

  • look at CO2 peaks 100 000 years ago, there was no cars or pollution back then? Greenhouse effect is just a way for some people to make some money. Learn more about ice age.

  • Actually the sun's getting hotter... x]

  • @DomNNatious No, the sun is not getting hotter. Since ~1970, it's even slightly cooling, hence solar activity cannot be the trigger for this global warming.

  • Greenhouse effect

    FUCK YOU

  • if the heat can get in it can get out

  • if the light can get in it can get out

  • Yes, it has been warming since the end of the little ice age 100,S of years ago. And there is a little way to go before we are back to the temps that the earth was before LIA started with farms and vineyards in Greenland again.

The same consensus of scientist that shout AGW now are the same bunch that said it was global cooling in the 70's. They were predicting glaciers to the Dakotas by the year 2000. With that record of accuracy in predictions why believe them now?

  • @cupera1 1. The warming that ended the last cooling period was caused by an increased solar activity, but since the 70's, solar activity remains constant, or is even slightly decreasing, hence it cannot be the cause for this warming.

    2. The 'coming Ice Age' predictions in the 70's were a media hype only. Merely 7 papers published between '66 and '79 predicted a cooling (mainly because of aerosols in the atmosphere), already 32 predicted a global warming because of CO2 emissions.

  • @Tervinger This is a case of, “Do as I say, not as I do.” Al, and the other eco elitist, will continue to live in their 4 mansions, fly on private jets and run up electric bills 20X of the rest of us. They have no intension of stopping their life styles to “save the planet”. This global warming faith is to stop development with Al and his friends on top. The rest of us, “the great unwashed”, to the elitists, will have to live in caves or live like the Unibomber.

  • @cupera1 While Gore's mansion once was a grossly over-consuming monster mansion, he has since retro-fitted it to be much more sustainable. That isn't to say the guy shouldn't be making more changes to his lifestyle and home, and I think you'd find many "eco-elitists," as you call them, don't place Gore as a model citizen.

I don't see much evidence for your "Al and friends" conspiracy, nor did you manage to address @Tervinger's counterargument to your original post.

    Enjoy your cave.

  • @bottleddissent Gores electric bill is topping $3000 a month AFTER he installed all the solar panels and wind generators this is still an increase from last year news of the $2700.

If you want to live like the Unabomber. I like having clothes to wear and cooked food to eat and a warm bed and want to provide these things for my wife and kids. If you REALY believe in man made man made GW I got some ocean from property out side of Yuma to sell you and I will through in the Golden Gate for free.

  • @cupera1 Well, once again, I'll point to the fact that Gore isn't very high on many environmentalists lists. It's cool he cares and made a movie, but it's obvious that he's got some work ahead of him still.

The Unabomber had clothes, a stove for cooking and heating, and a (I assume warm) bed. Look it up, it actually looks pretty cozy. I'll admit he wouldn't have had much room for a family.

I'm not sure what I'd do with your ocean property. I'm fine trying to live sustainably in my apartment.

  • It’s never been about "saving the planet" and it’s not about clean air or water, it IS about control. Control of how you live your life, the food you eat, the # of kids you can have, the house you can live in and the job that you can have. I heard ALL these same arguments when the eco nuts were saying global cooling back in the 70’s. They will manufacture ANY crisis to advance their agenda. “We can run your life better and more efficiently than you so shut-up and do and we say not as we do”.

  • so if the green house was not there well die of cold

  • How come you say that we'll be in a constant drought, but then you say there will be global flooding?

  • @royalpanthera7 Systems are complex , for example:

In an interview, Dr Schild explains the seriousness of the impact of Climate Change in the Himalayan region for the whole of India.

    1) What is the impact of Climate Change on water resources and livelihoods in the greater Himalayas

Rising temperatures lead to less precipitation in the form of snow. This reduces the snow cap and also in a longer-term causes reduction in the size of glaciers.

  • @royalpanthera7 This in turn influences very seriously the discharge of water in the pre monsoon period. The rivers carry less water. More water in summer and less in winter has to be expected. The consequence in the mountains is increased vulnerabilities in the form of flash floods and landslides. Less water in the pre monsoon period will affect the availability of water for irrigation and will affect food security.

  • @royalpanthera7 What this means is that it causes water instability. Rather than having a constant flow, one will experience flash floods due to melting glaciers, but because of the extent of reduced precipitation around the mountain areas (this means less rain), the amount of water available for farmers will be reduced. The 2009 Indian Monsoon Season only had 70% of the usual rainfall and caused severe water stresses on 40% of crops within India. Many Indians starved and 10,000 farmers

  • @royalpanthera7 committed suicide. The Indian Monsoon Season was interrupted because the precipitation cycle that occurs over the Atlantic Ocean was disrupted due to higher temperatures than usual. Complexity in climate mechanisms can be understood in more simple terms.

Arctic ice will melt causing rising sea levels, which causes flooding. But in land, dryer areas will be more prone to drought. It basically exacerbates inconsistencies in climate regulation mechanisms, causing more extreme
