I hated Wesker's voic3 in RE1, but I LOVE RE5's Wesker voice... D. C. Douglas acted his voice out really well! Probably Richard Waugh in RE0 is next. =)

Waugh IS the creator of Wesker's voice, and by voice I'm talking about his voice he's come to have that most people are familiar with. Peter Jessop had an American accent and his voice doesn't resemble Wesker's well known voice that started in CV by Waugh. This voice was missing in REmake for some reason but came back in RE0 and RE4. Then when DC Douglas took the role, he just copied Waugh's voice. Waugh was the first and any subsequent voice actors in the future will use his voice as a basis.

@halleysing Sorry to respond to something several months old, but this one just stood out. Douglas did indeed study the other voices, and he attempted to kind of blend them, much like we saw with Roger Craig Smith's Chris in RE5. Douglas however, did a poor job. His impersonation sounded fake, and like he was reading from a script, really takes me out of the scene.

There was only one guy to voice Wesker before Richard Waugh, Sergio Jones, but they were all forgotten.

@halleysing Well UC was his first role, which would have been totally excusable, but when they brought him back to replace Waugh, that is when his voice became just plain annoying.

I don't see how one would think his voice was good, or even the best. I mean, Wesker used to have a powerful, cool, well spoke voice, when Douglas voices him, it sounds like a Scar reject from the Lion King. Did I mention how fake his acting sounded? Impressions aside, it just didn't sound real.

Actually, Its Easily confused. Hunk, Part of the Salvage team, opposed to the Delta team. Was Later Pt into The UBCS. But after Resident Evil 3, He Was Mentioned that way in code Veronica, and This Info can Only Be Heard in the resident Evil Archives. ( a 50.00 $ Book)

William gave him the virus that mad him the half zombie/tyrant super human thingy that his is today. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't give an enemy such a gift. As for the voice change, I personally don't mind. Know why? Because I can hardly tell the difference between Douglas and Waugh's Wesker. XD Hell I didn't even know that they changed his VA untill I read about it. As long as Douglas keeps that sexy British accent that Waugh had for Wesker im cool. ^^ I wonder why they changed him though, they sound the same.

Yep, those two really are a dynamic duo.;) Douglas sounded pretty different to me, he really played up on the British accene, while Waugh integrated Brit and American.;) As for why, Capcom wants to use non-union voice actors in their games from now on, even though Waugh had recorded the lines for UC, Douglas went over his.:( There is an interview with Waugh on Famnime, I dont have the link but you should check that out.:)
