  • @daztrashman I guess I wasn't really paying attention when I posted my last comment but I was still half right. It's in the key of C, either C major or C minor. Dorian and mixolydian also work. But it's not in A minor. An A minor chord is never played in this song. Even though C major and A minor are relatives, there is no way that this is in the key of A minor because an A chord is never played.

  • that was so fun :)

  • Dude....can a get an identical backing track, just twice as long?

  • Ha ha you guys fight over what key this is and ill just play !

  • very short... :/

  • BLEUS SPIRIT I LOVE THAT

  • Are people really fighting over whether this track is in Am or Cmaj, because last time I checked they were the same thing. Well....same notes anyway.

  • Kickass backing track. Some get me more inspired than others, this one really did the trick for me. I'll remember this one.

  • the first chord will do and its an Am.

  • 123 Am Dm Am Em Dm C G Am

  • @rknrne ...the posting wouldn't allow the measure count, but it's a 12 bar blues in Am

(relative minor of the Key of Cmajor) .

Play the 'notes' that sound good to you.

    That's what music is.

  • This is fucking in C minor, you dumbass.

  • @drone713 this track is in Am. did you try playing C over this? does'nt work!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheFenderplecre Nope, it's in C. Yes, obviously I fucking tried C over this. It works perfectly. C Major and C Minor both work since this only using power chords and the third is not specified. However, the root in both cases is C and NEVER A.

  • @drone713 *Yes, obviously I fucking tried C over this. It works perfectly.*

Lol...of course it fucking works because C major is A natural minor! They're the EXACT same fucking notes! You can play the relative major in any minor key. You should have fucking tried playing the chords FIRST_ Am, Dm, Em.

I realize this is an old post, but this is for any newbies that might get confused by your fucking musical knowledge-and reasons to develop an ear for music so you can tell what key yer in.

  • @TheFenderplecre Am is the minor related tone of C. Both scales work perfectly on this backing track ;)

  • cool backing track, but a bit too short ;-)

  • Thanks for the backing tracks. Never can have too many to jam to! hugs to ya

  • wtf are you people talking about G pentatnoics for its in Am use Aminor blues scales silly

  • @XavierSky before you call someone silly, realize that this track works a lot better with A dorian than A minor... silly :)

  • @XavierSky he mains you can use G MAJOR pentatonic....dont be silly

  • OMG TOO SHORT.. I WAS FUCKING INSPIRED.. I HATE YOU!.. xD

  • Do'es all Am backing track fit with G pentatonic ?

  • @wipsii major

  • short tho.

  • I will not vote you! Make sure when you post a track make sure it's complete!!

  • No, try G pentatonic.

  • Nice + Johnny Winter is awesome

  • @mrbillhicks Yes, quite gay since it had sex with backing tracks of the same gender.

    NOT.

  • @H057IL3

One word of advise young lady.... leave the comedy to the pro's....

  • I have recently seen vids of this guy. Never heared of him before, so I will asked this questions anyway. Is/was Winter a herion addict? He looks very ill and frail.

  • He was for many years but he's doing well now.

  • Johnny Winter is one of the premier blues/rock guitarists in history. In his prime, he was amongst the best of the best. He spent 9 months in rehab in 1972. "Let me in" is my favorite CD, but you may enjoy his R&R years from the 70's. He's clean, doing great and still performing.

  • Look for cuts from John Dawson Winter III and Johnny Winter Captured Live !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Prepare to be amazed!!!!

  • The cords are Am with a bar at the fifth fret, Dm with a bar at the fifth fret and Em with a bar at the seventh fret. Play it as a typical 1, 4, 5 progression, Have fun.

  • Em isnt sounding right.

  • try Am.

  • For fucks sake, my initial comment was a REPLY to an earlier comment.

    God damn.

  • @MummyFish1012 ooo excuse you !!!!..

  • I'd like to know the chords of the song, please. So, if anyone could tell me those?

  • o loco

  • nice, i love this track. MOREMOREMOREMOREMOREMOREMOREMORE!!!!
