I had the task of painting nearly all of Nuada's masks and also the stunt actors masks for this character. Hats-off to Bart Mixon for applying those masks on-set. I haven´t seen Hellboy 1 until the second film came out.

Prince Nuada was the reason I saw Hellboy 2 . He caught my eye in the trailer.

If I haven´t seen him, I would have missed these great movies.

It´s good, that I´m a fan of elves ^^ although the elves in Hellboy looks somewhat creepy.

Nuada was never a villain. He was a convicted, passionate character who had been pushed too far by the excesses of humanity. If you want to geek out about it, one could argue that he was a lawful neutral character alignment that descended into lawful evilness. He only killed those who got in his way or those who he felt deserved it. But not a villain. Just driven in a different way.
