  • hot patch works great....especially if you don't have exactly the same thickness as sheetrock on wall..thicker or thinner doesn't matter. buttering edges of sheetrock will give even more strength to the patch.

  • Will this work for a hole the size of my little brothers head?

  • cool tip!

  • That a bad patch lol.Somone could take that whole thing out wiht one swift poke.

  • @kickback14 No not really, if you mud/paint correctly the only way you would dent the drywall in is if you hit it rather hard. If you used the paper peel method anyway.

  • better hope you never touch that spot.

  • this is a crap way thatl never bee strong enough thats cowboy! youd use a 2 x 1 timber slightly longer than the hole and place it behind the plasterboard on the wall with slight difficulty. and screw it in place then screw the plasterboard patch to the 2x1 timber. jesus

  • its called a "california patch"

  • Yeah, this tip is like 20 years old lol. Thanks for posting though. Makes me wanna post some of my many tips myself.

  • yeah .. THANKs jeff :) lol

  • This is really cool.

  • Nice quick and easy method. Hopefully nobody accidentally punches the hole back in again, though. Great for out of reach and low traffic areas.
