hey wat are the 97mm to big or they real good

they accelerate slower than small wheels such as gumballs or kryptonics so it is harder to accelerate into someones draft pocket if you're using them. but they do have extremely predictable slides ind big fast turns or just high speed slides in general. (they are also kinda tall) they've got pro's and con's.

97mm are awsome, you will have a faster top speed than any other smaller wheel, and they go over EVERYTHING

well... shoes for longboarding are whatever feels good. Most comonly something with a flat grippy sole. Skate shoes like DC and Etnies work well but padding isnt as necessary when not doing tricks so lighter skate shoes like Vans are used. Vans wear out fast tho even tho the sole has great feel and traction. Racers sometimes glue tire treads to the soles of their converse or other shoes to improve footbraking.
