  • JoCo playing the bass. My world just exploded.

  • I love the parts where Phil has to adjust his glasses because he's playing so hard.Nerd musicians FTW.

  • This sounds a lot like XTC.

  • I. Want. That jacket. Or. That beard.

  • every song i listen from JoCo makes me want to listen more and more of his music :)

  • Very Robert Sledge on that bass right now. Don't think some of us don't remember that Ben Folds Five reference a few months back.

  • @Jsten419 What'd he say about Sledge? I'm a huge fan of BF5 and I didn't catch that apparently.

  • @odragonrockso He mentioned how the Ben Folds Five and him were slightly alike, in that they both gained huge followings with specific audiences. It was a blog post a long time ago.

Fucking Sledge is a badass, and Ben Folds & Co make up a quarter of my music library.

  • So, can I file this under Drum and Bass because this would be the first good dubstep song I've heard in awhile.

  • Any joco fan from Romania or am I....forever alone? :(

  • It almost has an 8-bit feel to it, the drums and vocals sound like something from the SNES (not in a bad way! XD) I love it!

  • So sad to think Coulton will likely never get into the rock n' roll hall of fame. Fuck the rock n' roll hall of fame!

  • 3000 viewer exactly

  • I like the word structure in this song. What I mean by that is, I like how the last two words of one line is the beginning of the next line.

I also like the distorted bass in this video.

Keep doing what you're doing, Jon.

  • Phunky. :)

  • While I prefer the "bigger" sound of the album version, the fun these two seem to be having in this video is certainly infectious!

  • Yesssssssssss

  • Who let Jon have access to the bass again? Just don't trip over yourself.

  • Things I like about this: 1) The tune is catchy as crap. 2) The lyrics aren't vapid like most catchy songs; they're actually clever and interesting. 3) Despite using an MPC and distortion pedal, it's a very lo-fi feel. 4) Like TMBG, you've got a complete song in fewer than two and a half minutes.

Keep on rockin' in the free world, guys.

  • I love how he changes the original version to make the videos more original

  • Can't. Stop. Replaying.

  • With each new music video, my smile gets that much wider.

  • This song is just ridiculously catchy, can't stop listening to it.

  • Bass sounds incredible! I nod my head every time...

  • This is a rather awesome song.

  • :D
