  • non mi piacciono i film perche' ci sono cose inguardabili che mostrano azioni demoniche ma questa musica ( goblin) mi piace....

  • The witches are riding, wolfs howl at the moon... Ups that's not rhapsody ?:-P

  • Still one of the best movie soundtracks ever.

  • Comment removed

  • great soundtrack. greeaaatttt movie. i found it the other day in a pawn shop for 3 50. my copy of suspiria cost my girl 25 dollars. such a find.

  • Jennifer Connelly looks underrage in this movie but she is gorgeous. I don't give a damn. Must be why Argento shot her in her underwear. Yummy!

Fantastic primal scream of a soundtrack, too.

  • Wicked synthpop!!

  • @graveforest666 Well, if that was a recommendation to check out her music, sorry to say, absolutely not my thing at all lol

If it was to point out how gorgeous she is? Then absolutely in agreement there *slurrrrp

    :P

  • @graveforest666 And who might that be, sir? :)

  • All I can say is, Paul Bettany you lucky, LUCKY bastad :)

(And DA rocks well he did anyways - SUSPIRIA! HIS BEST STILL! SOUNDTRACK TOO!)

  • @graveforest666 REVEREND!!!

  • this is a great song!

  • I LOVE U FOR POSTING THIS THANK U OMIGOD

  • Cheers.

I would like to get a hold of a pristine copy.

  • Is the track "Valley" by Bill Wyman & Terry Taylor available on iTunes, and was it ever released on cd??

  • @Bleastrd I believe it was released on CD but iTunes I'm not sure about.

  • yeah the metal songs were annoying...and I love metal. The weird. psychedelic, art, funk, electronic noise of Goblin is the best of anything you could ask for in a Giallo soundtrack. They're the masters. What the hell would you call them anyways? Like genre wise...They're so genre less it seems impossibile... Lol...

  • Jennifer Conelly is the most beautiful black hair women that I've seen, Great movie, Dario sos grande...

  • Really catchy music, but it was really distracting during the film.

  • Unbelievable stuff as always from the masters Goblin...I love it!!!!

  • Loved most of Argentos movies. Especially "Bird with the crystal plumage", "Four flies on grey velvet", "Suspiria", "Inferno", "Tenebrae", and "Phenomena".

  • nice one, a great list for newcomers to check out

  • So far Italy sounds like a fine place- hot chicks, a history of awesome writers and directors, good bands, where the best horror movies were made, and awesome wine in the north

  • This is my first Dario Argento film - I picked it up at Poundland expecting a terrible film for a laugh.. Watched it today and it's one of my favourite films!! The music is fantastic - the main riff that repeats through it is my favourite.

  • exact same story with me, the ending is freaking incredible! this is my 2nd favorite dario argento move theme behind Deep Red's theme

  • Its the last good movie he made, and the music is outstanding...a classic...

  • opera is the last good movie he made, while Trauma is still ok its not that great.

  • you thouth italians only pizza, mandolino e mafia? here is for you the horror master and the horror band masters: it s enough?

  • the solo is awesomeeeeeeee

  • ehi! qualcuno sà dove posso trovare la colonna sonora del film Masters of Horror: Jenifer!

  • Boh, a me e piaciuto. Peccato che le musiche atmospheriche dell inizio del film non furono incluse nel disco

  • I thought the 80's rock was perfect. The Iron Maiden and Motorhead songs fit so well... I think Mr. Argento wanted to give it a type of creepy/menacing atmosphere.

    And, of course, he succeeded!

  • I have the original soundtrack to THE CHURCH on ebay uk at the moment, from (top.vision) Bids are up!!!

  • the soundtrack is the best thing in this movie, well perhaps its a tie between the soundtrack and the ending.

  • This is a great movie, but I find the 80's rock/metal soundtrack sooo anoying.. but the Phenomena song is Amazing!

  • Got no argument there! The rock songs were so unfitting and broke the film's atmosphere completely. I am aware that Argento was really into metal back then but the songs didn't necessarily make his movies any better.

  • @Joorum

"the songs didn't necessarily make his movies any better."

For me, its the music in Argento's films that lure me in the most; sure Tenebrae and Phenomena's scores aren't "fitting" but they're so amazing. Suspiria and Deep Red have good music also -- still, I personally think its the unfitting music that made his movies. Listen to the music in Trauma, Phantom, Mother of Tears etc -- cheesy, eye-rolling and boring, they sound like the soundtrack for I Know What You Did Last Summer.

  • @91bpatrick

What I meant by "the songs didn't necessarily make his movies any better." was that the Iron Maiden/Motörhead/Steel Grave songs didn't really improve Phenomena and Opera in my opinion. I wouldn't change a single thing about the Tenebre, Suspiria or Deep Red soundtracks, though. In my view, they're as brilliant as horror soundtracks go.

  • @Joorum

Fair call. Yeah if someone removed the Motorhead and Iron Maiden I wouldnt be fussed but I still think its cool that someone was daring enoguh to do it :)

  • @91bpatrick I won't deny that there's a certain charm in the heavy metal+murder scene mix =)

  • @91bpatrick

Oh yeah fair call, yeah if the Motorhead and Iron Maiden weren't in the film, like if they were taken out or something I wouldn't be so fussed.

  • I agree. But it was more annoying in Opera.

But Argento is still the master.

  • @Celestron1980

Negative. The soundtrack is the cherry to the sundae in this movie; its really hard for a horror film to be scary (for me at least) so you might as well have an interesting score for it. Seriously, Iron Maiden playing to a chase&murder scene? Really?? I'm sorry but I think that shit is seriously fucking awesome. More horror movies should have kickarse soundtracks like Phenomena in my opinion -- but not too many, cause then they wouldn't be special like Phenomena is :)

  • Brilliant soundtrack.

  • [Não acredito no que estou escutando

a melhor música do Rhapsody é um cover

    Nossa! impressionante]

  • I watch this movie here in november, it was removed about three months, I don`t know why. but we can see tenebrae and suspiria....

  • You can watch it on AlwaysClumsy's channel now.

  • Thanks, i`ll try

  • BEST OF THE BEST

  • SUPER)))

  • An amazing film and a hauntingly sublime soundtrack. This makes me want to throw in the DVD right now. Thanks for this post. **Added to my Favorites**

  • Thanks a lot, Watchman2012!

  • J'adore la première chanson, il est très effrayant!

  • The version of Daemonia´s live is too interesant, i don´t hear this version

    i like this

  • The original version. Claudio Simonetti worked on both versions.

  • Yes, to final of the song, in the presentation of musicians include a Claudio

  • great music, but i dont really consider this a goblin album, in either of its two releases. the first was like a true soundtrack using other artist's tracks in addition to the goblin material. the reissue which you posted seems to have more of a compilation feel to it using outtakes and alternate versions of songs. good music none the less. goblin truly are great at what they do.

  • This version is the original instrumental soundtrack.

  • Love Goblin.

  • Beautiful and haunting at the same time.Goblin, like Tangerine Dream, just knew how to make perfect soundtracks.

  • I love the fast paced part of the first song!

  • could you send me the music of phenomena please? thanks 4 the video !

  • You can install a YouTube downloader that will turn the video audio into an MP3 file. I only send music personally to my MSN contacts, not to everyone asking, as I said on my channel.

    Glad you enjoyed the video!

  • "Insects" (from part 4) is very creepy!

  • So cuuulte !

  • very very scary

  • The film is pretty creepy and there are tracks ahead that are actually scary to listen. "Monster Child" in particular.

  • cool vid!

  • do you have all these albums u upload????

man this song is straight SICK!!!

  • Most are downloaded. This too. The main theme kicks ass so much that it leaves bruises! =)

  • hahaha it really does!!i dont have a great collection of stuff but that would be soo sweet to have all these albums!!!

  • It would but they're harder to obtain than the DVDs so I'm not gonna start collecting them anytime soon!

  • yes!! this music is awesome!!!

  • It is! I like how they used the operetta voice in this film.

  • i love it

  • I'm more comfortable using annotations now. The WMM text was killing me!

  • lool i understand hows that feels like:Pp
