Since the recent advancement in all the antidepressants and other drugs the numbers of people with them has gone up. Sounds like a nice scheme to take our money lol schiatrists are selfish and deep down know the whole field in general is bs.
This is a touching story and I feel people should treat this video post with the utmost respect. I'm not sure the medication can solely be blamed. Depression can worsen quite rapidly (paranoia, suicidal urges) and even after medication is given. Unfortunately it is a potentially fatal and vicious condition. Medication doesnt usually have an effect until after 4 - 6 weeks and he was visiting the GP for depression already without being on anything.
Psychiatry should be adjusted. To say that psychiatry as a whole is wrong is absurd, considering it's one of the few sciences geared towards something as simple as the well-being of people.
Now, this kid? Her mother just said he visited his GP "rarely". He should, at the very least, visit a therapist once a week to track and help in his emotional development.
Now, all these people attacking psychiatry should at very least know what it's like once you go to a therapist.

There is no evidence in this video leading to the psychiatrist or the drugs. It's all just assumptions. Psychiatry is not science, it's psychology, basically. If you get a good psychiatrist, they should be able to help you. Psychology is so easy. You can make pretty much anyone believe you if you say the right words.

I remember getting abused after my exes sister killed herself. I didn't feel sorry for her. She made the decision. She had a family that loved her, friends and much more. She was weak, she didn't even look past her weakness to see this, so she killed herself. There's always another way. I've been through hell and back, there's always another way. No one or nothing is worth killing yourself over.

i am so sorry for your loss we are not informed on how dangerous these drugs are i have had horible symptoms of felling like harming others sucide hostlity vertigo hollusinations and i am now coming off of prozac slowly i am afraid to take a new drug wellbutiren made me fell the same . My heart goes out to you there is nothing in the world that can compare to the loss of your child . You were doing the best you knew how to help your son
