My pc can't find the Xonar when i'm installing the drivers, when i'm trying to install the drivers i'm getting the message that I need to plug in the Xonar. I plugged in a PCIE x4 slot, and i'm using the same power cable that ur using connected to a ocz. Got any ideas how to fix this problem?
check the connections of the power and make sure it's plugged in all the way, the right way round...and check that the cable is connected to the power supply...that's all i can think of at the moment. make sure it's seated well into the PCI slot. Sometimes just checking the basics can fix the problem. with the floppy power, usually at start up you can hear a clicking noise of the floppy power switching on as windows starts. checking the BIOS might be an idea also, tap Del on startup.
depends where you live, what shops you have. ebay sells Molex to floppy power adaptor for a couple of dollars. open your case and check that there's a spare molex...there usually is.
HI. I SEE YOU'RE MOTHERBOARD HAS 1X SLOT. THATS WHERE YOU'RE INSTALLING THE SOUND CARD. MY PC DOESN'T HAVE PCIE X1. I HAVE A GigaByte GA-X58A MOTHERBOARD AND IM TRYING TO INSTALL A X-FI Titanium PCI Express Sound Card. IS IT GOING TO FIT. PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU.
hi can you connect this card to the front head phone and mic ports of the haf-x case or do you have to plug head phones direct to the sound card , i fancy buying this sound card but i like using my headphone prts of my case and keep my speakers plugged in to the soundcard, please does anybody know this?
i looked, you get a load of cables, a load of discs like music software such as Ableton live, PowerDVD but no, you can't connect it to the front ports.

@HelpFromReJY
yeah, most motherboards nowadays have onboard sound. this card just has more inputs/outputs, MIDI and apparently better sound quality.

@uphill248
your motherboard looks like it has PCI express (the very short, usually white slots) and the X Fi looks slim so it should fit fine.
