JESUS CHRIST!!!! This is the sort of sound i'd hear at a spiral tribe rave back in 1992... Not just the musical vibrations from the speakers but my brain (on acid) reinterpretating the audio sound travelling within my head and wondering/wandering what IS reality and what is not! Hahaa get a grip eh....... BUT.....Then I hear a tune like this and im floored!!! Love the oldschool rave portion... Throws me everytime and then comes back even harder!
Well u also have to take in consideration that nearly 100% of the minimal techno experimentation been done already. It leave the artists with only 2 choices remixing or moving on.

Several reasons, both cultural and technological, can be thought of ;)
Nowadays "DJ" is a classy profession, people get every impuls wanted directly tru the means of hyperspace, Amin van Buuren xor Tiesto is officially the "DJ world championship holder" (i.e. rave/house/techno music became the new easy-listening pop),
there're a lotta retards liking the drugs+music combo, making music became both more accessible and visual by means of the PC, etc,
@Computerrorist ur a prejudiced uninformed ignoramus this is free techno music for free people, not money driven chart pop garbage, that shit cannot hold a candle to the era this came from, andur insulting spiral tribe and the like by comparing the two
@HybOj it was more cutting edge, people didn't care much for the clarity, technicality but it was mainly focused on the "plot", the atmosphere and dance... nowadays, hardly anyone dances, everyone tries to outproduce themselves and people look for formulas which are "user friendly" to boost record sales, people try to sound "like" something instead of just expressing themselves through music. I think 90's were so far the best years for electronic music.
@amokvrs I 100% agree in all points, I would not say it better. ...maybe I would just add 60's to the list :) At least we can still buy some of the older stuff as a Repress, I made quite a RP compilation this year heh - Network 23, DSP, Paul Birken, Woody McBride, Acid Fever, Hallucidite label etc., around 30 repress vinyls - many of em I know from old parties so Im really glad I can play em .)
@crimeproductions I can agree on that, its a big part of the story. I think its also because theres nobody left who does it so intensively as systems used to, to set a pace. Like the original drive has diminished with people who used to create it man. Dunno, I can go on and on, but it doesnt make any sense. I guess Im gonna stick to this oldstyle and be glad vinyls get repressed at least :) Peace crime

HOW is it that before 15 years in 94 people were producing shit like this, that noone can really do nowadays?
Is the LSD weaker now or what?!?!?! Get to your sound machines and do music like this, and dont go out untill its on vinyl agreed?

@HybOj it's because far more people are attempting to produce music, meaning the average quality goes down..
