I cant understand why Ford dont use the Cummins engine in their diesels ( is there some kind of agreement / reason they cant with Doge / Chrysler ? ) They use the Cummins engine in their bigger trucks ( f650 , etc ) , so why not in their duallys. Itd be a great combination. I dont like Dodges much ( sorry doge Guys ) but love the Cummins engines. Also I love the ford duallys but am not keen on the Powerstroke engines ( unreliable ). An F350 Cummins dually would be perfect truck.

No Im not saying the 7.3 is a bad engine. The 7.3 was as good if not better than the Cummins ( I know of one 7.3 thats done over 200000 with no attention other than oil changes / servicing ). When I said Powerstroke engines I was meaning the new unreliable ones ( 6.0 ) I should have said so. Its a shame they couldnt stay with the 7.3. I believe theyve solved the problems now with the new engines but the mpg is real bad due to the emmision regulations ?
