Majority of music isn't original. Everything is borrowed from Back and what he did back in the day. Blues is Classical structure and the rhythm from Aftrican music. Whether it's country, Jazz, Rock, Metal, or Hip Hop/Rap, it all comes from Blues. What makes it sound different is people borrowing different things from different musicians. I don't blame this kid for being pist off about what the radio and tv has to offer in terms of Rap, I think they suck to. But I do like Rap and Hip Hop.
And I primarily listen to music not associated with major labels. For all those who criticizes rap music that they get from the radio and tv really need to look at alot of the Rock and Metal on the Radio and TV. one final point, to further educate the dumbasses, the technique in rapping started with party oriented rhymes with strong lyrical stamina and set the blueprint for later artists who later developed those techniques, such as freestyling, multi-syllable rhyming, story telling, political/conscious hip hop, hardcore hip hop and gangsta rap(which was more conscious back in the 90's btw). hip hop once had mostly clean subject matter with the dirty stuff being subtle and more classy, not explicit

Majority of music isn't original. Everything is borrowed from Back and what he did back in the day. Blues is Classical structure and the rhythm from Aftrican music. Whether it's country, Jazz, Rock, Metal, or Hip Hop/Rap, it all comes from Blues. What makes it sound different is people borrowing different things from different musicians. Mainstream rap is b.s. However, conscious hip hop rocks! You will not find it inside the mainstream paradigm of so-called hip hop. You are wrong when you say that rap music is not original. The industry has an agenda in mind and they select out music because they are told to do so by the FBI and CFR. This happened to groups like the beattles and the Dixie Chicks because there music has an influence on people.

mainstream rap and hip hop does suck thats why i will only ever listen to the underground part of it. Atmosphere is the only good hip hop group i have ever met if i can find more like them dang!..... But i know there probab
