Coroner is one of my favorite bands, ahead of its time, with an artist's vision of Thrash that very few others have.

They play it Progressive, but at the same time raw and fast, with awesome lyrics. I think we should also pay tribute to a singer who plays plucked bass at the same time which is uterly difficult when you consider the fucking part he is playing.

Those guys deserve the cult status. And stop searching influences everywhere, we just know we're influenced by everything.

Ah, good memories... I remember I had a hard time getting into this band, but then something clicked on me and I started to love their music! One thing I've always loved about them is how clean guitarist Tommy Vetterli sounds, even during solos, but of course the whole band is incredibly talented and intsrumentally tight!

Also, I can't fucking believe they're reuniting after so much time, awesome news!

But a few weeks ago I was checking out the Coroner web page and found a band called. Spectors Of Sin

HOLY SHIT...these guys got the right idea......

Ya I mean still though I think Lamb of God and Trivium are decent bands, well actually compared to toher bands of the genre I find those 2 pretty shitty. But still I like modern metal better, BUT I really like this stuff too. I love all metal, from thrash to progressive to symphonic, to hardcore, to metalcore, to deathcore, to death metal, to alternative, to nu it's all awseome. :D

You may not beleive this, but everytime I hear Coroner I always bear it in mind that the bass he was using for long is identical to my Zon and mine may as well have been his. I asked the manufacturer Joe Zon (the bass-maker master) to look after whether my blue Zon Scepter was Ron Royce's - which Joe did perform, but was unsure about it.

What a heritage if it was truly his!

And for everyone's satisfaction, the instrument is still a magnificent one with a unique look and awesome sound :)
