  • I love this movie. Thank you for posting it.

  • it was really good to finally see this movie after so many years

Christina Ricci & Anna Chlumsky were Great!!

    Love the 90's movies :)

  • Thank you for posting. Such a cool trip down memory lane. :D And for the record I agree with the other posts...older times and older movies are way better!

  • i remember watching this when i was little. i didn't pay attention to the names and all that so i thought jody was a boy...lol

  • Omg thank you so much for putting this movie on youtube. As a kid i used to watch this. I couldnt remember the name so i did some research and found it thanks to you i can watch it an have a blast. Thank you so so much.

  • Thumps UP if 90's Rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love Christina Ricci! She's such a great actress. If you love this movie I highly recommend watching the movie "Now and Then" if you haven't already seen it. I think it was also made in the 90's. I wish I had a strong friendship like these girls have.

  • this movie reminds me of montana, and the early childhood friendships i had. there were so many coming-of-age films back then, that it didnt even matter where you came from, just as long as there was love all around

^^ Obrigada

  • It would have been better if they went back up the mountain and found it rather than having it randomly given to them. Bt good movie

  • this movie was one of my favorite. i know that it didn't become a hit in the US. but, it's okay. i guess this is one of those movies that really hits you home. being an outcast, going through adjustments and having a bad family background. but most of all, with all the technology popping up like mushrooms, it can never replace having friends to be silly with and play outside and have your adventures. not to mention having your real friends. :)

  • I don't know which BEAR MOUNTAIN that was, but the one I went to was in upstate NY. It was the greatest experience I had as a kid. You just felt so free. There were plenty of bears, but no grizzlys. I even won a trophy in summer camp for the biggest fish...a wide mouth bass...22 inches. I guess the memories will have to do.

  • Phenomenal movie. For a country movie, this one tops the charts. Really touched my heart. Cristina is awesome. This movie should have won some kind of oscar. I mean it was pure genius the way it was put together. I was like, WTF? I never weeped so much over a movie. The closest I came to this much country was in summer camp. Hit me back if you agree. BTW, thanks so much for the upload. I have this movie but it is on VHS and I no longer have a VHS player. ;-)

  • Good old days^^ Thank you for uploading!

  • this movie reminds me of being little

  • Someone once posted the costumes were really good. I wish though Anna had some better clothes for her character(even though she was to a tomboy). My favorite outfit for Anna was probably the one in the end with the leather jacket(hospital scene).

  • Well, I enjoyed the movie. It's a nice little movie about friendship and some adventure. But I probably wouldn't watch it again. I guess you have to be a kid for that :) Thanks for great upload.

  • Even though they have police escorts, that's dumb of them walking out of there with the bags over their shoulders like that. And letting them see through the windows. I know it's just a movie but still.

  • i luv dis movie nd my girl they both r so great dont u agree i think anna and christina make good friends

  • i havent seen this movie since i was 6 years old! this and my girl were my favorites!!! love them so much...aw the good old days lol

  • i can't help but feel like everything in the 90's were better. tv shows, movies, and even playing with your friends... you didn't depend on the computer for fun you played outside and made your own fun

  • i completely agree

  • oh i know, i wish i was born back then it would actually be more funner to me i guess lol

  • @darsfin I agree! I miss being a kid, and how everything seemed so exciting then! I hardly ever see kids get as excited as I remember being to play outside. The excitement now is more about getting a new video game or a cell phone at 9. What 9 year old needs a cell phone? lol

  • @darsfin Seriously!!! I turn 21 next month & I miss everything about being a kid. It will NEVER be the same. Computers, cell phones, & tv have nothing on the fun u can have making ur own fun as a kid!

  • @darsfin I agree!!!

  • @darsfin plus when you went out to play with your friends, they didnt stop every 3 minutes to check their stupid text messages. :<

  • @darsfin That's what I say all the time! Everything was so much better before cell phones, Facebook, and fancy dancy video games. Nobody has any imagination anymore. Technology has taken it all away. When I was a kid in the 90s, we played Kick the Can, rode our bikes all over, played Hide and Seek throughout the neighborhood, made up our own games, and so much more. Kids just don't know what they're missing. It's really sad!

  • i was 14 when this came out.... and somehow i can still feel the exact same way i felt when i watched it younger!!!! thank you thank you thank you sooooo much for posting!!!!!

  • I was watching My Girl and I remembered that Anna Chlumsky was in this movie, too and i just really wanted to watch it. Thanks for posting! Haven't seen it in forever:)

  • God I haven't seen this in years! Thanks for uploading it!

  • gold diggers, matilda, jumanji, trading mom, sandlot

those were the good old days when nothing mattered :)

  • God I know. Is it sad that I cry everytime I watch the Sandlot? It's just for nostalgic purposes.

All the movies you listed are great. It's such a shame they don't make kids movies like they used to back in the 90's.

  • @dhousegirl626 You forgot, Casper!

  • @dhousegirl626 you got that right!

  • @dhousegirl626

I know what you mean, I wore my matilda and jamanji videos out.

  • @dhousegirl626 All those are the greats!! Now that I've finished this one I want to go on a viewing spree for the others, too..... :D

  • havent seen this movie since i was soo little ((:

  • i haven't seen this since i was a kid. great memories=]]

  • OMG! Thank GOD my daughter isn't a teenager yet... and we don't live near any mountains. lol!

Thank you so much. I grew up with this movie. :)

  • Thank you so much laughlikeahorse! this is one of my favorite movies! Thank you so much!!

  • Thanks so much for posting this.

  • ive been searching for this movie for years glad to see its somebody posted it

  • aww i love this movie lol

  • what is the name of the song at the end i dont see the name for it

  • The song is called "The Flying Song" (creative title, eh?) by Colin Hay. There's a link to download it in the "More Info" section of Part 1.

  • @LifeisaBigShow It's the same song as in the beginning. It's called, "The Flying Song", by Collin James.

  • @LifeisaBigShow Okay, my bad. I should have explained. If you want to download it from the internet for free, look up Colin James. If you want to purchase the mp3 from Amazon.com, look up Colin Hay...that is his real name. In any case, look up, "The flying song". The song reminds me of when I was a teenager, in summer camp. Too bad they don't have an adult summer camp. I love the wild woods. So much adventure.

  • i loved this movie

  • thank you! :)

  • wonderful movie I wish they would make more like this one.

  • love this movie they dont make them like they use to one of the best coming of age movies others that you may remeber are "now and then" "stand by me" "goonies" and so many more I love them all

  • lol such a classic movie i remmeber watching this with my sisters when i was a kid i miss those days anyways i find it halarious why it was neccisary to tip the bag of gold out everywere lol

  • Me and my sister use to do the spinning part at the end when we finished watching this, thanks for posting! Its such a sweet movie!
