  • Walter White's been on the moon?

  • This made me so emotional. Thank you for this amazing event - which is the ultimate way to give thanks and glory to God through his all encompassing SON.

  • It is a great glory to God that this space traveler took time and had the courage and love to honor the Son of God, one that shed his blood, died for us and rose again and is our hope. What a statement to the world! They tried to keep it quiet. But in the fullness of time, the witness was given! It is more important to know Jesus' love and forgiveness than to ride the rocket to the moon. I am thankful that he died for me. Do you know Him? Forgiveness is free to you tho it cost him all.

  • Thank you for this one. "For without me ye can do nothing"

  • I never knew this.

    How wonderful.

    Communion on another celestial body.

    Amen.

  • @hddragracer1 Aldrin is Presbyterian, not Catholic.

  • @moninoff Actually he's Anglican.

  • @hddragracer1 You think they faked the moon landing. Thanks for that, I needed a good laugh.

  • @hddragracer1 The tv series MYTHBUSTERS did an entire show about the "Moon Landing Hoax". They put every theory to the test. They concluded that we really did land on the moon. In fact, the latest moon-orbiting mapping satellites can actually see the leftover Apollo hardware on the moon. Not just the USA satellites, but those from China and Japan as well. Just get over it. We landed on the moon. End of story. CASE CLOSED.

  • @OKNightOwl Correctamoondo!!!

  • thank you...im sharing...

  • In the end, this is all we have...

  • wow, what a beautiful scene

  • Thanks for sharing this video, my faith in the church is confirmed.

  • @ BlackwaterBud ,

VERY well spoken comment and I agree

    100 percent !

  • I am a Roman Catholic and I find this a powerful statement of the faith of one man, on the Moon, representing people of faith everywhere. Perhaps this moment and reading by Buzz Aldrin was more prfound than Neil Armstrong's first words.

  • We are allowed to see news of one astronaut trying to kill the lover of another, but we are prevented from witnessing an astronaut's act of worship. Maybe if we had more of the latter, we wouldn't have had the former. The establishment clause was never meant to insulate people from religious expression. Too bad it took Tom Hanks to bring this episode in our history to light.

  • @BlackwaterBud

    Excellent post.

Just found this video. I have been involved in satellite communications my entire adult life. This is the first time I knew this. Lets hope, with all of our accumulated knowledge, we still have time for our creator.

I was 11 when this happend. Thanks for posting this.
