I'm amazed at such high ratings. I'd honestly give it somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. A few mistakes here and there and some real fudging on the difficult parts of the solos.

It's not bad. It's probably about as well as I play it.

It's not fake, but the background (original music) volume is so high that I think some people are mistaking Jake's playing for this guy's.

I think it's a very good volume. Part of the reason he's blending in so well with the stereo is because his timing is bang-on for 9/10 notes. almost everybody else on youtube is missing the timing (even though thtye think they have it) and you hear their not before or after the cd playing which makes the youtube guy's playing stand out more. This guy here is right on for almost the entire video.

Uh, actually, that is pretty much exactly how you play the song. Only a couple small parts look different than how I play it myself. The only thing fishy is that his imperfections are masked by the song and guitar actually going in the background.
