All of you saying that you don't understand how this song relates to the city are moronic. Read the first three verses, especially "car starts, four windows lowered away: last views of cityscapes crumbling." The song is paying mention to the great industrial city that Lowell once was... You do realize that Lowell was once the greatest industrial city in the world don't you? (I hope) Anyways the whole song does not technically directly relate to Lowell, but it is artistic expression anyway. Out.
ummmm...im not listening to them? i just looked up the song because i wanted to see if it had to do with lowell..but it doesnt...so you might want to pull that penis out of your asshole and calm yourself down...oh and congrats you been to lowell, do you want a fucking cookie? your parents must be proud...
@Ghostman11577 I think you're wasting your time trying to explain anything to this foul-mouthed malcontent. I gather from reading some of his filthy posts (and filthy User I.D.) that he lives in his parents' basement and doesn't understand too much of anything outside of his MAD magazine-reading, pot-smoking world.
@PoopOnYourMom51 When you write songs sometimes you associate places, or things that are important to you and you in co-operate them into your music. Lowell MA in this case must have had an effect on the singer in some way, whether it be Nostalgic feelings, burning memories or perhaps it was a place where the singer had relationships.. I can see exactly how it relates to the title.
@PoopOnYourMom51 This album follows a concept of a relationship between a guy and a girl... no definitive meaning, just a location where something significant happened to them.
These guys are the Beatles of their generation. They have every musical quality a band needs to be the best at what they do. Why are they not a household name yet?
St. Stanislaus, Lowell MA <333 :)
