And of course the owners probably have taught their dog the "open it" command for wrapped gifts. I noticed the frustration in their voices when the dog didn't immediately respond to the command. (that he was probably never taught). Oh yeah, give the dog a wrapped gift and then tell him don't eat the tape. I'm sure you mean well, but you're the kind of owners that screw up dogs. He'll eventually turn and bite you. Unfortunately, dogs get the bad rap for dumb owners.
