tat people are mountainous Jews. They speak farsi according to them. Bukharian jews also claim speaking farsi since they are iranian jews too. But Tats and Bukharians have hard time understanding each other. Both these languages have lots of words from Hebrew since the speakers are Jew. Nationalistic against whom? And why do you think it is not nationalistic at the moment? Arent Iranis in power in Iran now. Why their policy can not be considered nationalistic? By the way, If you want to know the truth it is 100 per cent obvious that Pahlavi dynasti has Azeri roots. SHahs wife is Azeri, he does not look aryan himself, he is a real tork. ANd how can you built a nationalistic country in Iran where Persian are almost a minority.

listen majority of irans population considers themself persian rigth? so what i want to do is let the people convert and stop calling them azeri or anything else so the ethnic issue goes away.i do want diversity but not diversity that divides us. for example look at america its white population is 60% german decendent but they arent even called germans anymore nor do they speak german. that is what i want to do for iran.

thats what you want but what does not work in a real life. YOur example of German Americans is not the best one. There are so many ethnic and racial groups in USA that are still aware of their ethnicity and do not want to integrate or get lost in the melting pot.

their is a small difference bewteen other iranics and persians the other iranics just speak a different dialect of "persian" and have different names thats all.many ethnicities didnt even exist before the brits came anhd used the divide and conquer tactics o persia. it would also be better if their was no immagration and irans name changed back to persia for political and cultural support.

I dont think that Britons invented such an ethnicity as Azeri (or better say Persian Turks). And they do speak a different language. They dont speak a dialect of Persian. Azeri tiurkic is an altayan turkic language while Persian is IndoEuropean language. How can you call that a dialect.

no i never said turkish or "azeri turkish" was a dialect of persian but azeri turkish was never the language of true azeris they spoke the tat language which is medevil persian related to tylish/mazandarani/gilaki i think.majority of azeris dont speak turkish anymore and have started to speak persian again.

and reza shahs father was ethnic pahlivi speaking persian which is middle persian or old farsi and his mother was an ethnic persian from armenia yarvana so reza shah was pure persian and this shah is half azeri and half persian.if you wanted to know.also it would we should start changing the arabic words in farsi to other iranic words or go back to using pahlivi farsi.

As far as I know Reza Shah was just an ordinary Cossack. He declared himself Pahlavi. Where are the proofs that he was a descendent of Middle Age Pahlavi dynasty. That surname was chosen by him volunteerly without any well grounded proof. By the way, I am from Yerevan and I am telling you we Yerevan was inhabited by Persian turks under Qajar dynasty.

well the people that are from decendent of the pahlivis mostly live in mazandaran and golestan. in the villages near tehran and in golestan they make a majority am even half pahlivi blooded.

well, I dont know what is mazani persian. But I have seen a lot of azeris looking like him. May be there are also ethnic persians. But I think atyan persians have lighter skin and  fair, aristocratic look. Plus, shah's mother , even if she was from my hometown Yerevan, she was azeri not persian. thats what I have heard.
