Yeah this was really really good. At first when I realized it was fan made I was going to shut it down but I couldn't stop watching it well done! If you do a full adaptation let me know!
I didn't read the description. Admittedly I was a pretty distracted, but still, I watched this trailer up to the four kids playing music in the back of a car before realizing it wasn't the official movie trailer. School project trailers never seem this real. Nicely done.
ragazzi...ogni lavoro va apprezzato e vabbè...però metteteci più impegno e poesia.....così sembra il video fatto in casa di una vacanza a fine scuola!
I don't think this is great by many means, but it's certainly at least "good". It's also no doubt a LOT better than the actual movie they're going to release.
Good Job, Kyle. I found your video as I was looking for official trailers. I just finished reading this in a 300-level American Lit class at Mary Washngton and I was surprised to find out this was about to be released as a movie and I wanted to forward the trailer to my professor.
It seems like you have a great teacher to assign a project like this. Good job!
Man this is a fantastic portrail. If I hadn't known who was going to star in the actual movie this could have passed as the trailer. Amazing Kerouac impression. Good work.
and also i would have loved the bit where he buys some groceries on his bike near the beginning when he's with Terry cotton picking but hey. what youve done is relaly great these would only be add ons. anyways sorry bout this getting excited for the film i guess :)
hey so i hated the music at first but it got ch better and actually turned out really great. same with the voiceover ended up sounding pretty cool, maybe thats more of youre american accent im not sure. for a project, this is amzing so well done. of course i think for it to be on the road you needed cigarettes (you can buy fake ones from joke shops) and liquor. i think it would have been cool to have maybe you driving a car with the camera turning back as if handheld to see the passengers.
@proximobloco This was posted over a year ago before anyone knew there was a movie even being made and the sub-heading clearly states that it's an English Project. You should take the time to read properly before commenting. I think he did a fantastic job.
Obviously the date sugested to me that this wasn't an official trailer and normally I find home made efforts incredibly turgid but this was really good. Top work.
Not at all. The cinematography's good; the choice of song near enough spot on to compliment the speed and suspense of the voiceover and the words well chosen. Without wishing to expand too much I feel you captured the solemness of Kerouac's character that is often overlooked. If, though I doubt, you haven't read the book, do so, as Bob Dylan said, "It changed my life like it changed everyone else's". I for one can testify to that.
@KyleMisteravich Hey, At first I was dissapointed that it was another fanmade trailer but this is actually pretty great. And the music! It's usually so hard to get music that creates the right atmosphere and whatnot but this is just perfect. Could you please tell me the name of the song?? And great job :)
people who actually read the book wouldn't say they liked this.

don't get offended, but I think it's quite boring and monotonous. A bit of action would surely have made it better
