I bought a 42inch Vizio Plasma for my bedroom for $300,I used to get tired of playing video games on my old Tube TV,now I can play all weekend no problem!!!
The reason I bought a low cost Vizio for my bedromm is because it will be used primarily for gaming, which I wouldnt recommend on an exspensive Plasma!!!
can somone help me im looking for a hdtv or plazma(annything that will play in hd) and im wondering if anyone has any sugestions? im looking from a 20 to 30 inch at a reasanable price preferebly below $400 but will go to $500 if its good.and pls whoever wants to please add me as a friend
its actually LCD or PLASMA. not hdtv or plasma. HDTV IS AVAILABLE ON PLASMA SETS AS WELL AS LCD. AND IT REALLY DEPENDS ON WHAT U WANNA WATCH AND THE LIGHTING CONDITIONS OF UR ROOM. TO REALLY TELL U WHICH TV WOULD WORK BEST. and to be honest at that size ur better off getting a 720p television. CAUSE those tvs are so small its impossible to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p FULL hdtv.
Fails to mention that they're over-priced LCD monitors. My 22" LCD cost $300 and does 1080p (The image may be compressed or cropped a bit, but not horribly so). Looking at similar TVs will be double the price.
Not educational.... The "quality" "uncompressed" HDTV provides is convoluted by the broadcasters compressing the signal 52%. That is over half the quality lost. Instead of calling it "high Definition" it should be called 1080. That is the only fact.... Oh and the wow factor of having a 16x9 screen hanging on the wall....

i recently bought a 720p hdtv, only for xbox 360 and hd dvd's. 1080p is the best but for me moving from nothing p to 720p is good. :)
