@sloan1209 been a massive muse fan for like 6 years and first time i hear this song was like a week ago.. it was an amazing week :D also heard dead star and fury
@PheobeACullen This is what's known as a B-side track, these are omitted from the main albums for whatever reason and aren't known to as many people. Fans like you and me dig around and find them though :)
@highwaymanD well they were the first band that played New Prog, which is a subgenre. (maybe i'm totally wrong, but i think i read that somewhere haha)
Tere is something else at the end. It is quiet for a while when the song has ended, and than suddenly you hear them rocking out and matt screaming in the mic.
Actually, their B-sides are their best songs. I like their album songs too, but overall their best music is on the B-sides, because they are more creative imo.
this song is so wonderful, like all the other songs from muse. i think they are the best band all over the world and i really love them. MUSE FOR EVER!!!
Such a sinfully overlooked song, and it's easily one of Muse's best. If every Muse fan had heard and loved Glorious, it still wouldn't have the recognition it deserves.
It's the other way around actually. Coldplay has drawed strongly from Muse in the past. In fact, one of their most popular songs "Clocks" was inspired by Bellamy's composition techniques.
@winrar88 also thanks for the info, I didn't know that before you mentioned it, it's pretty cool finding out that there are these kind of connections between some of my favorite bands
Yeah, Chris is very strongly influenced by Bellamy's work. A more obvious example can be heard in "Politik"...very clear influence there, not only in structure but also in the tonality of the music.
@clangersrule just pay attention to the lyrics...It's like saying"I hate faith , why should we be faithfull in something that we don't know since we ourselves can too be glorious?"..I completely agreee with them..
@musicResistances I think its more a dilemma of finding a person who has faith, and loves another person who doesnt have faith, but for that reason can't be with someone who doesn't have faith.
@CerpinTaxt37 why? The Resistance was a great album by Muse, I actually liked how they merged different styles of music in that album. BH & R is by far my favorite, but honestly The Resistance was just as good.
I'm not hating on anyone who likes The Resistance, it's just that everything about Muse that I grew to love since 2002 seems to be in the rear-view mirror of their musical craft. I understand bands change, but the direction they are headed is not one that I find myself enjoying.
