like there was anything special about the g37. it's pretty difficult to copy another japanese when they all mostly look the same to begin with. they all follow the same trends and stylings in their cars.

To be honest, rather than be original and ugly (Acura, for example), it's better to borrow/copy from others (in this case, the Mercedes CLS and the Passat CC, and a little bit - the bad bit - of Lexus) and produce a good-looking car. I wouldn't mind a cheap car that borrows form other cars, as long it looks good.

It would look better if the wheels were an inch or two larger and the ride height a little lower.

hyundai are really impressing me at the moment, its a shame that they have this reputation as being another cheap korean car maker, coz they are really producing some nice looking, affordable and reliable cars. the genesis coupe is a great car for the money and im sure this will be too. just hope they can breakaway from their sterotype.

I'm impressed by Hyundai, they are using a Direct Injected engine in an economy box. And it makes the same power as my IS250's 2.5L V6.

I've seen it here in Korea. Body lines of the Passat CC, front of a Solara. It blends together nicely. 35mpg or a turbocharged 4 are nice. If it's interior is half as nice as a Genesis sedan this will spank the Camry and Accord.
