It is not true that Andrew was the first to dive and penetrate the wreck. Cousteau and his team dived and penetrated the wreck in the 70s, as did Kevin Gurr's team in 1997, and my team in 1998, all before this expedition took place in 1999.
Hms Victoria is being standing vertical under the sea for more than 115 years.
I think{and hope} titanic will be with us for years to come.Britannic and Carpathia can be raised with billions of dollars.Titanic cant.I hope sometime they will raise those other 2 to keep titanic alive even when it will be gone!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ship could have survived this damage. But as the ship sank, water went into portholes that were left open to ventilate the ship for the wounded soldiers. Thus breaching yet more bulkheads. There is evidence of hatches being left open too, Also look at the size of the hole, MASSIVE damage compared to Titanic. I would like to see the robots they use on Titanic used here in Brittanic. It might not be worth it though, as you can see the ship is heavily covered in sea life due to the warm waters.
The Brittanic sank faster then the Titanic because the captain of the Brittanic tried to beach the ship but due to open portholes the ship filled more rapidly, thus sinking faster.
The story says this guy was the first diver inside the Brittanic !?! No, Jacques Couteau and his team found, and penetrated this wreck in 1976. The special is on home video as part of the Cousteau Odyssey series.
