i remember that blizzard. i was going to venetucci elementary school. my mom was babysitting some other kid and we were all snowed in 4 2 days. i remember that i missed my christmas party at school for which i had made cookies. :(

If we had that much snow in Kentucky schools would be closed for like a month. Haha one day the news guys said it was going to snow 2 inches and all schools were closed haha. Hints it never even snowed lol  Then we got just 4 inches of snow everyone freaked out bussiness were closed and most gas stations,schools, and walmart was still open but the store was almost cleaned out lol of food.

We (here in COS) had several blizzards in 2006-was amazing. I was totally snowed in over here on the west side. Garden of the Gods is just to my southwest. gorgeous in snow-woohooo!

I was in California for this one...moved in 2005 but I do remember the one in 97...we couldn't even open our garage...malls were closed...it was crazy!

i loved that blizzard so much, i drove in every single bit og it. even when it was declared a disaster area. and i had a ford focus and never got stuck! shows what you can do if you know how to drive. that blizzard was the greatest thing that ever happened there

Wow, that's actually right up the street from me, maybe a 10-15 minute drive depending on the traffic. Anyways, I do remember this blizzard, and while it was cold, miserable, and depressing, I loved every bit of it. No school, no work, just relaxation.

There are no words to describe how beautiful that place really is. Truly breathtaking and majestic landscape. You could really find inner peace at that place. BTW Love the dog sliding into the trash can, that was cute. LOL
