  • Anita Kerr's voice and arrangements were immediately recognizable on tons of late 50s and 60s records. This was a great single of theirs along with "Waitin for the Evenin Train". And "Forever" and "I Wonder, I Wonder, I Wonder (as the Little Dippers). Thanks!

  • @patentpumps Yes, she's backing on so many of my postings.

  • Never heard a sweeter sound than this in my entire life.

  • Know what you mean, it's rather special. You might try my Ray Conniff (Singers) postings of Besame Mucho & Charade.

  • Neatest and sweetest group ever put together.

  • The greatest vocal group of all time!I'd love to hear one called "tradgedy"from their TENDER WORDS Lp.Great video!!!Post more of there RCA stuff because it was their greatest recordings!!

  • Many thanks. At the moment, the only song I have by 'them'. I wonder if 'Tragedy' is the same song as done by the Fleetwoods.

  • Hey!Yes "tradgedy"was done by the Fleetwoods-Anita Kerr's version is suppose to be from an album intitled"tender words"on RCA from 1963.And yes I believe the album was "cut" in stereo! I haven't heard it in a long time. The last time I heard it was on a radio program about 15 yrs.ago or so!I've seen the lp a couple of times but never in stereo-it must be rare!

  • LOVELY SOUND ! I've been a fan since the early 60's.

Where can I find "Genius in Harmony" album released in '64 ? ?

Especially deliscious sound on "Drowning in My Own Tears"

  • Sweet! Thanks for these memories!

  • I have three Kerr cd's and lookin for more. They gave many of those pop and country hits a very distinct sound and as you can hear, they do a pretty good job in the spotlight too. Love 'em! Thanks for this one too SBB

  • I don't know how many of the songs I've posted feature Ms Kerr, but it must be a lot. Especially like her backing on Ronnie Hawkins' tracks.
