Anita Kerr's voice and arrangements were immediately recognizable on tons of late 50s and 60s records. This was a great single of theirs along with "Waitin for the Evenin Train". And "Forever" and "I Wonder, I Wonder, I Wonder (as the Little Dippers).Thanks!

Hey!Yes "tradgedy"was done by the Fleetwoods-Anita Kerr's version is suppose to be from an album intitled"tender words"on RCA from 1963.And yes I believe the album was "cut" in stereo! I haven't heard it in a long time.The last time I heard it was on a radio program about 15 yrs.ago or so!I've seen the lp a couple of times but never in stereo-it must be rare!

I have three Kerr cd's and lookin for more. They gave many of those pop and country hits a very distinct sound and as you can hear, they do a pretty good job in the spotlight too. Love 'em! Thanks for this one too SBB

I don't know how many of the songs I've posted feature Ms Kerr, but it must be a lot. Especially like her backing on Ronnie Hawkins' tracks.

What a roster: Jim Reeves,Patsy Cline,Brenda Lee,Perry Como,Pat Boone,Rosemary Clooney,Bobby Vinton,Roy Orbison,Willie Nelson,Floyd Cramer! Anita was born Anita Jean Grilli in 1927 in...where else? MEMPHIS!! "Joey Baby," was achieved by Anita dubbing her voice 4 times! WE OFFICIALLY DEDICATE 2009 TO OUR GREAT "SIR B" HEARFELT THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES... You GOT Class dude!!!
