@ohjeezitskim Not true, it is the European version yes but the American version and Canadian version also do have them depending on the network you sign with. Here in canada you can get this version on Bell and a few more less popular networks.
@ohjeezitskim Exactly, the other models are considered better as it is a 4.5" screen and has 1.5Ghz dual processors but no physical button which breaks the deal for me. I have an iPhone 4 and im getting this model in a few days, and i have to say i cant wait! iPhone's are shit. I just burn through them. two years 7 different ones...
@genesyseight The skyrocket for att is 1.5GHz and I think 4.5 screen. But I was originally going to get the iphone and then fell in love with the galaxy s2 and am going to get it for Christmas.. Waiting these next 3 days are killing me!
0:17 Why is the back cover of that S2 doesn't have the roughness/meshy back cover? Coz most of the videos i saw have that.. The back cover of this looks kinda smooth.
@nuffsaidguy It's an unlocked phone, so I think it'll come to all the major wireless carriers. I'm with Verizon Wireless and I might buy this phone when its release.
@asderipieree Thank you, but have you tried to see it close (15cm from your eyes) you will see the pixels. I see it with my bare eyes in the exhibition
For all of you asking if it will come to your network, it is set to release for US with AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, under different brandings, namely: Attain, Within, and Function. No dates set yet though.
@jashimkus1s the US market is so weird. Why don't they just release the stock SG2? All these different models for no good reason. Plus all the third party accessories can't concentrate on one model like iPhones
@Ytremz Once the scene has matured, rooting a phone isn't particularly dangerous. If you don't like TouchWiz, then rooting and running custom ROMs is awesome. It's so awesome that Samsung gave the Cyanogenmod team some complimentary phones just to make it happen.
@coffeeblack7 slow updates and fixes. just take a look at all the issues (gps, sd card, wifi, usb, etc) surrounding the Galaxy S variants on all the carriers. they have been very slow to address and fix problems.
@MonoNeutron but couldn't you say that for every other company? not every phone made will be perfect. and the galaxy s phones have sold a crapload and plenty of people love them.
@coffeeblack7 every phone and company has issues but Samsung has consistently been late in addressing it's issues and remedying them. you don't have to take my word for it, a quick look on any forum about Samsungs Android offerings will tell the tale. they seem to not care as long as they continue to sell product.
@MonoNeutron as right as u are.. as a sprint customer this will be the BEST offering i see coming this year. its just a shame they make such great hardware but lack when it comes to software support.
