If I could make a society, Heinlein would be my biggest influence, not because of the excessive militarism, but because in his book he made a functional one-world government that greedy individuals would be to scared to attempt corrupt.
One Heinlein quote, then editorialization, neglecting the body of work that provides context. Heinlein pointed up the necessity and the nature of a military, but did not say that war was the only way of dealing with issues, and certainly not the best way. This video is an apples v. oranges comparison of a psychologist and a filmmaker. My grade: C-.
Heinlein consulted on the set of "Destination Moon" which was based on his screenplay, and that qualifies him as a filmmaker. But I think Doc maybe was contrasting Skinner with Verhoeven?
Nice. Few minor spelling errors ;). Mostly however it felt as if you had chopped and changed with the music a little, as though it was on repeat? It just felt strangely disconcerting throughout.
Thanks for the compliments. :) As I mentioned in the description, I know how overused Reqium is, it gets on my nerves too. But I felt it really fit what I was trying to convey, and thankfully my Philosophy class didn't know how overdone this song is.

In almost every Sci-Fi movie mankind is united because of an outer enemy. That is the whole idea behind the Starship Troopers movie.

Yes, I had to chop and repeat the music a bit to make room for all of the slides.

It's pretty awesome.
You brought up couple really interesting ideas which couple i though through rather carefully.
And the editing is rather superb. Just tiny problem...
Reqiuem for a dream? Seriously? That's like most overused epic songs ever! Otherwise, it rocks.
