I do not think the American public would buy this WITHOUT also already being gripped by wartime emotion. The Gulf War was the first war since Vietnam, and most people thought it was the right thing to do. Bush Sr.'s approval ratings shot up to 90 % as a result of an apparent victory in this war.

I work in video production, and while I can't tell you if they were in Saudi Arabia or Florida, I can tell you that this was definately shot outside somewhere, not inside a studio. This is especially clear to me at the 4:02 shot. And as far as "the cameraman doesn't move", it's obvious to me that the camera was on a fluid head tripod. The cameraman could have been doing jumping jacks for all we know, and the camera would remain steady.

Since you're unable to clarify where this video tape came from. Shouldn't you look into the actual context of this video? Was it even aired? Have you even considered the possibility that this was training for reporters and what to expect in a war zone.

From the looks of, it clearly looks like a training video. Having to make up information on the spot because they have none to work with at that current time.

@tadsgirl I work in video production and I am in television studios every day and I know how studio venilation works. It doesn't blow directly onto the set. I have to work directly with the media a lot. I know that when you see a story you see maybe 10% of the whole story and usually 90% of that is inaccurate. I have no problem bashing the media when it's warranted and do so often. Whether or not this is staged, it's definately outside. But you believe whatever you want to chief.
