  • @swbrwnskins Hardee's is still around here in Illinois

  • Aw! Pound Puppies!

  • :'( I wish I could have lived an 80s or 90s child life...sadly, I am currently 12. It is 2011...

  • A DOLLLLLLLAR

  • Very touching

  • This was cute yet im thinkng if n kid saw this wheat thay think of the jolly fat guy n red!

  • I had all the pound puppies from hardees ...........good memories!!

  • The only toys I remember getting fromHardess were Pound Puppies, California Raisins, and Twizzler Lips.

  • I remember having those when I was little. I actually still have a giant one I keep somewhere too look back on(:

  • So the dad bought the pound puppy and pound purrie for himself? Or were his kids too stupid to see them in his pocket when he thrust his hip out and patted his pocket where they were poking out?

  • I had those dang Pound Puppies. I also remember when Hardee's had the California Raisin figure dudes.

  • 0:01 holy crap, that's the Quail Corners shopping center in Charlotte, NC

  • Ahhhh! I had that puppy! It must have been my sisters though I don't think I was born yet.

  • I couldn’t help but notice: The restaurant building and facade seen in this commercial were identical to two particular (and many others) in the Hardee’s chain during the 1990s. The first: 600 N. Wesleyan Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The second: 1590 W. 1st Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 the Hardee’s color scheme seen in watch?v=veQ6-iog_Gs more resembles the couch used by MARK GALfione, GIOVANNI, and Robert Christian in a 2010 Top Dog production. But, Giovanni more resembles the Jersey Rican

  • wow !!!!! a meal for a buck & a decent toy and a drink

  • WOW!!! Remember when you could actualy buy something with a doller?

  • @DopeMcDoperson

Me too! LOL, there were probably thousands of us kids who had that exact Pound Puppy and named it "Brownie". Ahhh, good times...

  • *talking

  • @malikstarks - Uhhh, yeah they are missing out. Unless you love the taste of overly-processed meat, bagged veggies and grease- you're missing out. Hardees Thickburgers are awesome. Charbroiled, fresh cut vegitables every day- room tempered (that's how fresh) 4 hours before serving and 100% black angus beef. You obviously don't know what you're tlaking about.

  • we got one of those things when i was a kid.

  • fake snow

  • Aburger, fries, and small soda for $1?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WTF? Now I have to spend almost $8 for a medium sized Angus Bacon and Cheese deluxe from McDonalds...

  • I wish prices were like that today :(

  • an oldie~!

  • I wish we had a hardee's in Hollywood Florida, I never had hardee's : (

  • @9jorge78 You ain't missing much.

  • I think I had the brown pound puppy.

  • Kewl.

  • HAHAHAHAHAAHHA how did they go from that to men eating enormus amounts of beef

  • 22 years later, I still have my Hardees Pound Puppy and I'm only 23

  • I have a light brown Purrie.

  • COOL!

  • OMG I remember the Pound Puppies. This was back in Hardee's good days before Carls Jr ruined them.

  • Hardee's good days??? Their burgers in the 80's and 90's were completely devoid of any taste. They had a boring, fried "been sitting in the freezer for several months" taste.

  • thanks for posting- aw the good ol'days- now most hardees are closed around where i live
