Things can get this bad because Parents abuse their children and the rest of Society abuses them ,one can only take so much abuse . when he left class to go get his pass he headed straight to his locker for the gun. the gun was his fathers(no surprise)he walked into the room stood in front of the book shelf next the chalk board said "miss,i got what i really went for" shot himself before anyone had a chance to react at all, fell slumped against the book shelf, his eyes wide open...saddest story

jeremy was i think a 15 year old and like he didnt talk to a lot of people but he passed notes to this one girl and he talked to like 3 people at his school and like when he walked in class one day late his teacher tells him to get a pass so he walked out and came back with a gun people dont know where he got it and he shot himself its really sad you can look up his story and u can look at his pic he looks like a good kid its werid he would do some thing like that.. rest in peace king jeremy <3

Actually not really. The school district has had it's number of suicides. A rash of them in the 80s, but not like Jeremy. He's the only one to do it in school, and those of us who were there were changed a bit by it.

It is certainly a moving story, and time.

this is such a beautiful video... many ppl said the song shouldnt have been writen and the video was banned on a few stations.... but i watched an interveiw about the song and pearl jam is right.... its a very dark song and subject... but it happend... so there was a need for the song... and believe me just cuz ppl wanna close there eyes and ears to shit like this happening.... that doesnt mean it didnt happen.
