@Cr4zyd4wg They changed it because they didn't feel that individual buildings would be good on a console. So they made the current system for easier-to-use base and unit building. I preferred it the way it is seen in this video. And individual buildings could work, play Command and Conquer on the console. It's not as good as it is on the PC, but it's still enjoyable. I also preferred how units had their own colours just like in the Halo FPS games. I don't like how all units are Purple, Green et

if you look at the early devolopment of halo wars it was a very good looking strategy game but as time passed ensemble studios went with the faster strategy based game rather than a hardcore strategy game'seen in this demonstration. i really wish they kept it that way it was kind of a let down when i bought it the day after it came out :(

When I saw this I was impressed, I had fantasies of spending long periods of time desiening a kickass base! Then the full game came out and your base turned out to just be a block that gets launched from a ship.

Ensamble closed. They were a seperate game making group. Bungie only made Halo 1, 2, 3, and ODST. They are the ones making Reach and hopefuly the movie. Ensamble however, closed, so someone else would have to make a sequal.

I agree. Though there are some things they could of kept from the demo to the game. Like a part in the game where you can have your Warthogs jump over, that'd be cool. And see Marine squads doing pushups behind the Barracks.

i have halo wars and this is NOTHING like it. they completely changed it . two main things i noticed is the power of warthogs jumping canyons and the MAC gun. The MAC shoots one round normally and in here it shoots 5. in all the halo books ships can only shoot 3 or 1. oh and btw MAC means Magnetic Accelerator Cannon that shoots super-dense tungsten tipped hypersonic rounds that are 50 ft tall

You absolutely have to play this game in HD. Looks terrible in 480p, but looks AMAZING in 1080p. The game is definitely worth buying, but i would recommend getting the Limited Edition for the Halo 3 maps.

I love how in this demo, you can just run over grunts and infantry. In the current demo, you have to press Y to run them over and the Warthogs take damage, also!!! They screwed a really good game up!! *sigh*
