I learned to fly out of N98 just south of harbor springs! If you ever find yourself in the area again I would love to come check out that plane. I'm considering building one myself. For the last 4 consecutive years, the Southern Flyer Diner in Brenham, Texas ( 11R ) has been voted the best of the best by " The 100 Dollar Hamburger " publication. I'm fortunate to fly out of KCXO ( Conroe, Texas ), 50 NM. Mine usually cost me about $150.00 if I fly the Archer ( sadly still renting ). But the 50's motif and the " Poodle Girls " waitresses make it worthwhile. They have a full menu and it's all great ( chili and cornbread is my personal favorite ).

Quite a rate of climb. And at 380nm I'd say it was a bit more than $100.
